Some mental health problems cause sirious problems in understandig word plays or figurative meanings. Its great to see shes doing well in her life and that she's passionate. However, truth is not always a fixed statement. You say she always tells the truth, however, its really just her truth. When we talk beliefs , truth is subjective. I feel her statement concerning ppl with big hair and synthesised music not having depth ( paraphrasing) shows a lack of openess and prejudice. Personally, i dislike country music, yet id never state it lacks credibility or depth. The 80's produced some incredibly powerful music. It certainly wasn't all shallow pop. For whatever reason, Sinead wears her demons ( figuratively speaking) close to the surface and sweeping statements about her dislikes should never be interpreted as wisdom from a sage..I sincerely wish her all happiness and health. Despite my comment, I will say, I believe her to be a trail blazer and gifted performer.
