We've done a LOT of Street Fighter IV Combo Trials on the channel at this point, with varying levels of success by our FGC PROS. This time, we've challenged them to nail all of Rufus's combos. Will our PROS be successful, or will this be a challenge they can't overcome?

From the first of these I watched, it was clear that Marlinpie understands and sees fighter game combo science differently than us normies…which makes perfect sense reminiscing on his UMVC3 combos. Always trying to make it harder and flashier than it maybe needs to be, but executing it in a way that looks nigh optimal.

I would love to see the Smash players try out some combo trials and see how far they would get. Edit: Guys... Be civil. Stop being so elitist. Who cares what game is harder, they both require different sets of skills.

I requested this a few months ago. Panda liked my comment, but I’m not sure they’re gunna do it. Also, be prepared for a bunch of crybaby Smash players to tell you how much harder smash is than SF.

Does Kizzie have the best execution in Panda? I feel like he always aces these videos. Or maybe Panda is trolling the others by showing them mess up a lot.

Kizzie completed all of Xrd combo trial, some of them have tight charging cancel after pressing forward. In term of execution he is definitely up there.

all have great execution. as far as these trials, I would say: Punk, then JWong, then Kizzie. They all GOATS tho. :)

@@DJ_Neuro I agree. But in this video series, there is a trend. Marlin always messes up the most, then Punk, then Justin, then Kizzie. I understand the reason Panda edits the video this way.

@@subterraneanretrogames556 as many you can guess “you must fail 1000 times to learn how to become a master” so it’s not like doing combo first try is the sign of failure. I think it’s just a sign of how perceptive and in tune they are with the game that makes it interesting. That order is probably a good way to gauge their reading ability. As for execution wise if they can understand how it done they can get it done.

@@NoirLouisStream I get it. My comment was more of an insight on how Panda edits these videos. It’s either; Kizzie flies through these trials and the editor has less footage of Kizzie to work with -or- Marlin and Punk are more entertaining when they drop a combo.

Listen to Marlin start these Sf4 trials at 16 allowing them to do IDK multiple characters per video. It'd be cool to see a fighting style like this again. Just ideally not on a walking tit physic. I'm morbidly obese myself, but Rufus isn't that, he's a cartoon fat joke. He's not representation, he's disrespect. I still really like some of those moves though. Take away the Taz of Tasmania stuff and just have the awesome weird twisting rotating kicks and palms and such. The sitting crouch is pretty unique too.

i remember rufus' trials not being too tough, besides trial 23. took a while to get the timing down. yun and yang's were ANNOYING though. would love to see you guys try them. dudley's, guy's, and ESPECIALLY t. hawks were probably the easiest in the game, among some others.
