I have to buy remakes, I try and find the best one I can. I can't afford to pay $150+ every time I get one, especially after pretty much paying that much for my gameboy sp. Had one growing up but it was lost or given away. Nintendo needs to start a limited production of their old games.

Rubys my favorite since my childhood

I have a black cart ruby was my first game when I was 8 and still have it. Never let me down even if it is a fake

I found a bunch of these games with Pokémon Sapphire at the back of my dads appliance shop. At least 40 copies in total all in a blue carrier bag. All boxed too. No idea where they came from or how they got there, I asked my dad if I could keep and sell them on eBay. Man… I made a KILLING 💰💰💰😂 I must have been maybe 12/13 years old, I was so damn happy.

Well that was a really obvious label. There wasn't even branding on it, and Ruby has a transparent shell to view the board through... It's not often that easy to tell nowadays. Especially for someone who doesn't fully know what to look for with a "good" fake. As the value of the these titles increase, so will the quality of these fakes... Therefore, the best lesson ppl can learn here is to know what the authentic boards look like and buy yourself a gamebit driver for a few bucks so you can always check 'em yourself. 👍

To be fair , I don't see the difference with a real or fake game on a console like this. It's the same thing . The game program is copied to another cartridge and it works in the console the same way

Lmao that is literally the worst looking fake I’ve ever seen. I have a fake copy that has an identical logo to the real one. The only way to discern it from the real one is the way the motherboard is laid out on my fake compared to the real one. I guess the people who produced the fake in this video didn’t even try 😂
