You know, if this was ORAS, there would be no need for a challenge since a literal power house and that's not even mentioning Mega Evolution. Her new Fairy type really helps her and only has a couple of weaknesses and a lot of resistances and some immunities. Intimidate is a great ability and her Mega Evolution Ability doubles her already high attack. I'm glad I decided to put her on the team in my most recent X play through with my Shiny boi Chespy. She's around Lv. 77 and knows: Play Rough Crunch Flash Cannon Iron Head
Replace Crunch with Sucker Punch and swap Flash Cannon ( lol ) for Fire/Ice Fang depending on what coverage is needed to support the rest of your team.
@@ShadowtheRU-vidr523 more so for priority than coverage as you'll lose more games by attacking second than you will by having slightly less base power then Crunch. Three other attacks for coverage is plenty.
I can already tell that Mawile’s gonna have some difficulty against Team Magma... Also I’m very happy that this Mawile run is happening. Earlier last year I tried to change my Emerald emulator for Mawile as the starter, but it didn’t work. Now seeing this makes me so glad that I’m not the only one who had the idea of doing this xD Edit: Whelp I was wrong
I almost feel at this point, an "Elusive" Tentacool run only is on the cards! I mean I know it will be easy with the God like pokemon but it should be done ;)
Mawile learns both Ice Beam and Flamethrower. So at a good level and using those, Steven is likely doable and the Rock types are eh with Crunch. I think this is accurate but been a while since I used Mawile in a game. Only threat could be Metagross and maybe Aggron lol.

Actually, you had another rule: No learning moves other than its natural moves. Yeah, that would be a challenge. I alway give Mawile Brick Break and Return.
I knew it was possible in the remakes, but I didn't know it could be done in the original games. My favorite Pokémon just keeps finding new ways to make me like it even more!
Love the increased confidence in your voiceover this video! Makes it fun to watch when you sound like you had fun too! (About the ‘we do’s: I actually found it easier to ignore this time, maybe because of the confidence and the more variation in sentence structure)

Mega Mawile has been my favorite mon to build a team around since it was introduced, always nice to see it getting some love, even if it's the original (bad) form
Really enjoying this series for the nostalgia in different ways. There's of course the cherished memories of playing these games back when they were still relatively new, but also takes me back to circa 2008 when 'Only Runs' were quite common in the RU-vid Pokemon community, such as Datai's Starly only run

A "challenge" I've been doing in my runs of Pokemon are. Only use stab moves with one Pokemon. It really brings out the flaws and weaknesses of some Pokemon
I think it’d help if you went a little bit into your failed attempts and what was holding you up. Against Glacia you just said “Well, there was no way I was gonna beat her at this level. It took me forever to do it but then I beat her.” Not exact words obviously, but the point is that you kinda glossed over what in particular made that fight challenging vs everything else you’ve been going against. Aside from that, enjoyable vid. Keep up the good work!

I like the music medley haha. Also do you normally speed this up to like 4x while playing or grinding? I can't imagine doing all of this at regular speed.
Its possible just obnoxious I did this challenge and scrapped the video it's very obnoxious cause of mawile has limited good moves it's better than using shuckle
I actually don't see the problem with allowing a limited amount of items in battle. Like maybe just 1 per battle that is the same item of the most recent gym leader you defeated.
I was really stressed out that you didn't use TMs! You could have taught Mawile Shadow Ball over Crunch, since Ghost-type moves in this gen are physical!
a better moveset would of made this a lot easier instead of bite, crunch, ice beam, and vicegrip. Crunch,return,ice beam, and brick break would of done way better. crunch for phoebe, icebeam for drake, brick break for glacia, and return for wallace and sydney you would hit like a truck
I always wonder this and hopefully it could be cleared up but like... why not actually take the loss and run through the league enough times to get to lvl 100 and win that way...?
