GECKO if you use a fire type move on an ice type like vanillish, it doesn't faint. It just melts. You melt it to death. It's the equivalent of throwing lava over a person. And then Pokemon centres have the ability to just unmelt it. Same with rock moves and ice Pokemon. You just smash it to pieces like glass. And then the pokecenter puts it back together. Electric moves literally just electrocute the enemy. If you use spark on a lillipup, you are just electrocuting a puppy. The safari zone is animal abuse if you use rocks. Gyms are cock fighting rings. Milk Drink is literally just slurping milk straight from the udders. Somebody is bound to have attempted bestiality in the Pokemon universe. Trubbish and Garbodor are just results of pollution. Some Pokemon just straight up murder people, some kidnap kids. Carnivine is 5 feet tall and can eat humans alive and whole. Machops are virtually slaves in Oreburgh City. Using fish Pokemon would kill them as they would suffocate. It really is a terrifying universe when you delve deep.

Wonderful run again! Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Also, can't wait for next week! Hmmm ... new suggestion. Maybe you could try a run using only the first stage birds (Pidgey, Hoothoot, Taillow, Starley, Pidove, Fletchling, Pikipek, and/or Rookidee) for the game of your choice.

Phanpy is my favorite Pokémon, because it reminds me of my favorite stuffed animal, named after my grandmother. I always catch a female Phanpy and name it Judy, then take it down to the end of the game. Phanpy is my favorite Pokémon to say the least.

At least it's fast and has good defense, right? And gets frickn' STAB early on (I think?) in Rock Throw, and gets STAB from Rock Tomb, and gets Earthquake, too.

@@krystallinekris it learns Rock Throw for level up which is Base Power 50 with 65% accuracy in Gen 1 :D But you get Dig early on and Rock Slide at the 4th Gym so thats at least pretty good. Too bad he has a 4th Water/Grass Weakness and probably gets fucked hard at lorelei.

@@CojonesMuchoGrande Ah, I guess I didn't see it was gen 1 because I stopped before that lol. For some reason I was thinking gen 3 since this video was Gen 3 lol. But even here, Wallace would likely be a dead end because of the 4x water weakness, but being able to one shot with EQ and being faster might make it doable. Onix also gets some interesting TM's if I'm not mistaken in Gen 1, and moves like Slam, Fissure, and Double Edge might make the difference in this run.

Nature's are values that can boost any stat at the cost of another except for hp so modest nature would allow phanphy to get more special attack while leveling up but it's attack would level slower

I really don't understand why people suggest that he should do those. This whole trend of challenge runs really hit stride with Pikasprey doing a Ditto run after he did his Smeargle run. MahDryBread is already ripping a formula off of Pikasprey and pumping out a generic video every week, so I don't think he should do Ditto or Smeargle. It would come off extremely insincere and, honestly, stolen.

Ramoxfire Leader of Gauntlet Squadron I have done the research, called playing Pokemon Platinum. And Googling it to double-check, and no, Glameow is only available through trade in Platinum. And just to prove it, Glameow appears in the wild on routes 218 and 222 in Pearl only.

I think you missed an opportunity to have a “1-5 Rollout Counter” on screen to enhance the viewer experience. With how formulaic, and cookie-cutter these are getting, I think there are small but significant ways you can improve the production of the videos. I hope you find ways to make them more interesting

4:41 You can easily outplay it with a move like Dig though. Phanpy, me and Dig have kind of a history together. I remember my first pre-planned Team Crystal Run... I beelined to the National Park after the forest, sure TM Dig would help me out against a certain someone who likes the Rollout strategy... I was astonished that Phanpy was incompatible.

FR/LG with only a smeargle, but here is the catch you can only use the first move it ever gets so basically no tm/ hm or moves learned by level up. Lets see how you can handle this

Trapinch is pretty easy to sweep with. High Attack stat and access to Swords Dance and Earthquake make him a beast.

This was great! I love Phanpy. It's one of my favorite Pokemon. I would have loved to see a little more footage of you running around. Like, especially in the first half you kind of just jumped from battle to battle with no overworld footage. So I was a little confused about where in the game you were, and it was a little harder to visualize.

SHINY POOCHYENA WAS THE FIRST RANDOM SHINY I HAVE EVER GOTTEN! In Gen 2 got Red Gyarados of course but never any Shinies otherwise. Then when I first played Emerald Version I got Shiny Poochyena.

You should add a progress tracker of some kind in the margins of the screen. Maybe a badge case or level update or map or something? Because the footage is almost entirely Pokémon battles, it can get difficult to follow where you’re going if you don’t specify it in voiceover. Especially with later gym leaders it moves too quickly from one to the next and I sometimes lose track of your progress. It’s not a big deal, but I think it’d help improve your videos. I guess I have difficulty following because I’m not as familiar with the games... I commented this before, but it was an old video so I’m making a new one, I hope you consider the idea!😅

Can I beat Pokémon with each in one stat rules you can only get Pokémon with a high stat in that stat example chansey for health jolteon for speed aggron for defense and so on you can only level up the Pokémon with the evs that correspond with it this might be too hard so u don’t need it
