@@Jade_birb True, but that makes it a "canonical child" so to speak. Unfortunately, that argument doesn't hold much water since Three Houses has a surprising amount of characters with named parents.
While Byleth may not be a "child" unit, doesn't Byleth have the exact same two stat-gain "failsafe" that all of the _student_ characters [plus Flayn & Cyril] do? ^ By that, I mean [unless stats are somehow already capped] those characters are always _guaranteed_ to raise at least two of their stats upon every Level-Up. The same does not happen for any of the playable/recruitable _faculty_ characters.
I find it hilarious that Lysithea is the same age as Ichigo Kurosaki, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Eren Yeager. Many characters in anime, manga, and video games are child soldiers.
One of the weirdest unit restriction challenges I've ever done, This was fun using diffrent units and seeing my roster get smaller and smaller over the course of the playthrough. Let's hit 500 Likes for post time skip where I'll have only 4 units to beat the game with.
Something you probably didn't know about the mission assistants is that if the assistant does an action that gains support, they ALWAYS gain support with Byleth (at least for PP, I think it works for EP but I'm not certain. It works with healing too even if Byleth isn't healed. Doesn't work with Rally's though so...) Meaning you don't need to sit Petra next to Byleth all the time, just when Byleth attacks.
I feel like using Flayn is a stretch I’m ok with. Like yeah she’s clearly at least several hundred years old maybe more, but it still seems within reason.
Wow learned something new about Cyril and Lysithea. I'm still trying to complete my first game of 3 houses. I'm somewhere at the time skip. My first attempt at the game was with the Black Eagles, but when it came to making a choice of whom to side with I didn't like either choice. So I restarted the game and went with Blue Lions. I really need to finish the game. But I never used Cyril before nor had access to Lysithea because my use in magic was not high enough.
The first thing I learned from this is that Petra is actually younger than Lysithia, as shown by the "who's allowed to be used after time-skip" chart, and I honestly had no idea that was the case. I blame Claude for telling me Lysithia was the youngest in the house/school (he didn't specify which of the two he meant, but implied which made me assume wrong xD)
Everyone after the time skip is way over the age of 18 being 20+ with the youngest characters like Petra being 20-21 and the oldest characters like Byleth being 25 by the time skip.
9:52 you don’t need support with Catherine to recruit her lol only a certain level starting with chapter 4. I think higher support level lets you recruit her if Byleth is lower leveled though
ai generated thumbnail💀in another comment you said your artist is on vacation..commission someone else then? or use images from the game? I feel bad for your artist, it’s so disrespectful to replace them with ai like this. this looks like a video I would enjoy, but I won’t be watching because I can’t support AI art.
I totally understand where your coming from. My artist went on vacation so I used the AI art as a back up in a pinch. I’ll be taking comments like this into consideration moving forward so thank you Kaoru.
@@nullpoint3346 95% sure, look at the proportions for Lysithea, her head/hair is way too big for the body. Bylthe looks the best, but her outfit is wrong and a bit of her bangs, small details, but ones ai would make. Edelgard’s hair is wrong (missing the ribbons) along with her outfit, but the biggest issue of all is her eye color, her eyes are lavender not red.
You know It actually shouldn't have been "Three Houses". They would have done SO MUCH BETTER with just the Black Eagles Route and Church Route. You get Claude, Dimitri, Hilda, etc as recruit-able characters for Church Route. THAT would have been so much better! The budget would have been so much better utilized!
The crimson flower route was clearly something they threw in later because they felt like they needed to give Edelgaurd a "not actually the bad guy" ending, and it was a terrible failure, the only really good path was Golden deer, where you actually take down the true villian of the story
@@AceoftheVoidWell I think Three Hopes did it better because Edelgard didn’t really even pretend to be a hero, and they didn’t have to write Rhea out of character to make her one. Edelgard isn’t really a villain either, but I’m sure you understand the point.
