i miss when deli used to show the floorplan from the top down at the end of videos, it made the homes make so much more sense and always inspired me

That’s how I play. I love building a bunch of homes with households that have very different back stories. Then when I have created a whole neighborhood or sometimes even an entire world I will play them all jumping from house to house. Right now I’m building up all the Scenarios in this way so I can play them all at once. Now with neighborhood stories it makes it even more fun. I also play with autonomy to the max. I’m here for the chaos.

I really want to try rotational play, but I often like to make successful sims, and it's kind of hard to work on them when you're jumping from family to family, but it looks like fun. Also, love a good blue suburban

They released an update today for the major issues from the last update. No more auto ageing or incest.

@@redfoxcaly it didn’t fix everything. There’s actually quite a few bugs but they fixed the major ones. They wouldn’t of had time to fix all of it yet but I’m sure they’ll release more updates soon.

I started playing rotational again after watching Pleasant Sims. I love it because it forces me to not have every sim have a perfect family and reach level 10 in their career and have some drama in between households

I consider that to be a good looking mansion! I am sure I can find one that looks like this in the Netherlands as well. Not in my neighbourhood, though. But it OOzes RICH! I guess that's an universal way of building ☺Very nice!

I feel like Caiden would also be that straight rebellious popular jock dude who secretly finds a guy he likes. Since his parents come off really traditional it would be a shock to them if they found out he had something on the side with a guy, but the guy he gets with helps him find himself and really stands up to his parents once and for all. Maybe Caiden moves out and lives with the guy.

Hi deli! I just wanted to let you know that I think you have been pronouncing “munch” wrong. In America, or at least where I am, we pronouce the “ch” in “munch” the same way you would pronounce the “ch” in “cheddar”. I am not sure if it is different in Australia, or maybe it is different specifically for the name of the CC set, but it was bugging me and I wasn’t sure if you knew you might be pronouncing it incorrectly. Love the build!

I live in Toronto and know exactly what you mean about houses being much cheaper elsewhere (like the US). Have quite a few friends and family in Chicago and Dallas suburbs living in $300K-$400K houses that look like $2M houses here.

Oh we really need a HUGE Build mode refresh. Columns, fences, railings look all glued to walls and they even exceed the balcony/foundation/platform's boundaries 🙄🤯🤢. We also need better ROOFING!

Hey Deli - please take a stand for modders!! Not allowing them early access is killing their livelihoods (it's like saying you can't make money from sim videos when you've build a career out of it). Sims profited off modders (who fix their game, add depth) and knew they did early access paywalls (given that they regularly collaborated with modders who had these set up). I get shutting down the permanent paywalls, but not allowing early access is hurting our community.

Poor teens, because even if you don't have anyone else in their, it is horrible sleeping in such small bed 😅 In my case my mum told me when I was 16 "You may want a larger bed soon..." 😂😂😂 But my poor friend who was 17 and had a bf, her mother went to buy her a new bed and it is was soooo narrow, maybe because she was a teen mum and didn't wanted that for her daughter, but still, even teens need their quality sleep! I slept in it once and it was soooo tiny, poor thing, almost an adult, and in Sweden you are allowed since 15 😂 I am so thankful for my mother even if she made me awkward from times to times.

Your caption about Savannah’s name pronunciation reminded me of how people would usually pronounce my friend Sasha’s name as “saw-shaw”, but hers is actually “sash-uh”. It’s funny how random people would try to “correct” my friend and I on how to pronounce her own name.

Clearly I've been watching your videos a long time because the family I made for the high school pack is eerily the same lol I also made an affluent family, Mom is a lawyer and Dad is a tech guru/programmer. Mom is the strict one putting pressure on the kids (proper trait) I made twins, boy and girl but in my family the girl is the rebel and the boy is the over achiever. I haven't played yet because of the bugs 😩 but it's nice to know we think similarly 🥰

In where I come from, we call the 'butler's pantry' a 'dirty kitchen'. I don't know where we got the term dirty from but it is not as dirty as one would assume. But yeah it's where all the appliance goes in and where most of the cooking would be while the 'main' kitchen is usually tidied up and just for show lol

I feel like one small touch that makes a kitchen look more affluent are those wall mounted pot filler faucets above the stove. It not only helps make the wall look less bare, but it’s also some thing rich people usually have nowadays. I’m sure someone’s made some cc of it. I’ve actually never played sims 4 since I can only afford cheap laptops, so I have live vicariously though these videos.

The issue you run into at 7:15 is a problem I run into all the time. How did you fix it so fast? Please make a stairs video, I can’t figure out landings.
