Bruh! Love that you share all your moments, especially the teaching and learning moments even for yourself. The front flips were so encouraging, especially for a first year rider like myself. thanks for bringing us along for the journey Kevin!
Revy's the best buddy. Love that Mountain. I'm only an hour away at Silver Star and we just haven't had the same amount of snow this year. Been a bit of a bummer but beauty blue bird day today. Any day on the slopes is better then every day at work though. Keep givin er and congrats on the front flip!
I want to learn flips on a snowboard. I can already do front, back and side flips on flat ground but I’m in the mid west so all the hills are super stiff and icy so falling on a jump will ruin your week
Let go Kevin! Congrats on the stomp, loves the chaaaaaawho to end it and respect for the work put in... i bet the whole crew was tired at the end of that session.
@@Shred1904 lol wish that worked. I experienced my first ever real powder this year and I didn't realize how exhausting it was getting up out of it over and over again (I'm not good lol)
I'm here at Wolf Ridge Resort at Mars Hill, NC where I just finished my first day snowboarding. I picked it up REALLY fast, but it seems as though my biggest troubles are over-rotating and the edge of my board catches almost every time. How do you keep from continuing to rotate if your just trying to straighten up?
Ride one edge slightly more than the other, flat-lining can be done but it takes time to develop the muscle memory to maintain balance and some of the most painful falls are on flat icy trails when you are flat-lining and unexpectedly catch an edge. Good practice is to ride toe edge then back to heel edge and rock back and forth but going in a straight line so you never stay on one edge more than a split second unless you want to turn.
