We can't beat on Sean too much. He did provide a lot of entertainment for us guys. He obviously wasn't that horrible or we wouldn't be here now. Craig was always just in the background before. Kinda like a problem child that should be seen and not heard. Just kidding. But now that he's running the show, it's now more mechanical minded. Which is perfectly fine by my standards. I'm also a mechanic, with very low standards. Let's give Craig that opportunity to shine. And let's not forget Sean and all that the man did for his community, and all his viewers. I'm not a religious man whatsoever, and usually when someone would start with their religion I would immediately turn it off. Sean was very tasteful with his religious beliefs. He didn't throw it in your face or make it the forefront of his videos. I will give him credit for that. He's too young for a midlife crisis. Plus most guys run out and buy a motorcycle. What's he gonna do ?
@GenerationAI2024
@GenerationAI2024 9 месяцев назад
@@-Mike-69 Of course we can't beat on Sean. Been on their channel a long time and love to see Sean as much as Craig, but im more mechanical inclined so his content hits harder for me. It was meant with a blink in my eye 😉

It's a 1972 XLCH Sportster. First year 1000cc. First year with no magneto. Last year for drum breaks. Last year for no turn signals. I had a 72 XLH (electric start). Mine also had the aluminum flat track rims. It was equipped with a Bendix carb. Wait till you try to take the primary case off, it takes a hammer impact driver to budge those phillip head bolts out. It's a wet clutch, that's why there is oil in the primary case. I loved that motorcycle, had so much fun on it. I now wish I never sold it. In fact I will have occasional dreams that I still own it and find it in need of love.

You keep doing bikes that bring back some really good and scary memories! My old riding buddy was from Lancaster, Pa. and he rode a 72 AMF Sportster. I rode a new 79 Yamaha XS eleven Midnight Special I would pull out my emergency kick starter so, he would stop giving me crap about my wussy electric start feature. We lived in a small town with a summer time population of 500 and winter time of 250 . We were the talk of the town ( not in a good way ) because we rode bikes and had long hair! This was during the late 70’s to mid 80’s It didn’t help that our town was a stopping point for the dirty dozen summer ride! He used 16 penny nails to rivet his back sprocket to the hub and called it good! “Bubble gum and bailing wire” was his tool kit! What a blast of a good time. As always stay safe and healthy! Ron

This has quickly become one of my favorite motorcycle themed channels, thank you for the informational yet entertaining content! Here's a pro tip regarding badly designed work lights without magnets all the way from faraway Finland; in my own quite dimly lit garage I use a headlamp (the kind you strap on your forehead) while working on my 2 oldish Suzukis. I have one with variable zoom and different power levels. It frees up both hands, doesnt fall over and directly lights the thing you are looking at. And as it is almost eye level, no shadows.

You are a good friend. I bought my best friends bike after he passed away from his wife. I am restoring it. It’s an 83 shovel head sportster. Has not run in 15 years but I am doing a basic frame up restoration. It’s almost finished. Taking his original parts and repairing them but did have to replace a few. So it’s a little bit of I am in a little bit of me. And as I keep wrenching on this bike I’m remembering all the good times we had. So one day soon I’ll be riding with him again
