Noted 👌 thank you mate I appreciate this feedback. If things go well I’d love to be able to pay to visit guys like this where they are in the world to film like this 👍
Mate you look so good, all credit to you for making this vid for anyone who is undecided about shaving their head you have shown just how easy it is to take the plunge, confidence levels boosted and enjoy your new life .
Awesome man. Shaved mine the other day right before Easter. Looking badass... All of Us. You've helped me immensely over the years and this certainly adds to it. I was meant to see this at the right time. Life is a gift and there are many battle we fight forever, but as long as we stick together is all that matters. Love thyself and love all. Rock n Roll
I am exactly at the point where I feel like I need to brave the shave. I can relate to a lot of what was discussed. What hits home is the part where you guys talked about getting your hair wet or when it’s windy, I can completely relate to being paranoid about how my hair looks. I’m so glad I found this channel. I’m building up the confidence to go for it but I’m so self conscious of how I’ll look with short hair 😵💫😵💫
"its not what u look like its what u think u look like" just wow what a perfect quote, this reminds me of when i was a teenager and we would go to town and if one of the boys asked how they looked we would just say they looked good as regardless of what they actually looked like because its so true as long as they thought they looked great they would have so much more confidence and it turned out it really is what u think u look like
This is very informative, I'm sure that a lot of people will learn a lot from this video. Such a brave guy to start shaving from the middle and looking great.
You look Great, my friends! I have been Bald by Choice for nearly 15 years, did it without RU-vid! But I have followed Bald Cafe since I found it because I love being bald and I really appreciate your efforts and enthusiasm to help others to make the decision to deal with the issue. I shaved a pretty full head of hair because I was tattooed from fingertips and toes up to my hairline and beard and wanted to tattoo my head. I was thrilled when I buzzed it off and finished it with a razor soon after. As long as I am able to do so (I’m 75 years old now), I will keep it shaved. After I got my scalp and forehead tattoo completed, I shaved my 12 year beard and lifetime eyebrows and completed my full body tattoo. I don’t remember how long it was before I regrew my beard, but it wasn’t long. I think that most men shave the wrong part of their heads. Bald and Bearded is the way to go!
@@buyerofsorts it’s a lot like loving being bald. Most people don’t have the guts and passion to do what I have to get 95+ percent of one’s body tattooed. Try it, you might like it!
@@buyerofsortsMy point was not about my tattoos but rather was about my reason for my first experience with being bald and my subsequent experience with remaining bald by choice as a result of that choice. What is your concern with my “obsession” with tattoos? It seems to be similar to the frequently observed disdain bald people experience from those who are obsessed with their hair and are discomforted when they observe men (and women) who are comfortable or even choosing to be bald. I caught more crap about shaving my head (even before getting my head tattooed) than I got from my tattoos! And that, my friend, has been a LOT of crap.
Just shaved my hair off today, and can say, aye it'll take a bit of getting used to but I feel much better. Thanks to baldcafe and the personal journey vids, the helped alot
finally cut my hair off after receding hair in the temple area and a very high hairline (age 24). Would've never had the courage if not for you and all the great testimonies. thank you Baldcafe.
Looks good bro! I've been shaving my head for the last 12 months and I had also shaved it a couple of times here and there the few years prior to that, went and got a hair transplant in Turkey 3 or 4 weeks ago, but I'm glad I went through the phase of being out in the world with no hair too! 😂
Today I shaved my head (22 m yo) Yes you lose some ego yes, yes u lose the old perceptions of you. But you win . You are no longer a slave to yourself and your face . That's what you look like, that's the man right there. Self love is what I need not good hair like in magazines. Love your self king ! Sounds corny but that's the secret! love from 🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬
This channel gave me the final confidence boost I needed to buzz my head about 3 months ago. I was super scared to begin with but haven’t looked back since :) Still here watching all the videos and looking into other peoples journey with hair loss Props to all us hair loss kings🫡
I would like to debate Harry on the question of whether balding ruins your life. For the majority of men who don't pull it off, I would argue the affirmative.
@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa "Pulling it off" is about the confidence of the individual and whether they like and identify with the new bald look. Anyone can pull it off if they accept it and like it right away or just grow to accept that's the way it is.
That's awesome bro! I'm happy for you!! I've made the decision to buzz my hair off soon and making the preparations to do it. The biggest thing I'm worried about is the reactions. It's an extreme move and because of that, there are bound to be a lot of reactions. How did you mentally prepare for that?
Thanks for this new content. This dude really reminds me of myself with the thiny blonde hair and red beard except I look balder in the front being only 22. The only thing holding me back from actually doing it is that I'm afraid I'll have so little hair after shaving once I can't grow it back. I've already shaved to 5mm and it's the feeling it gave me. With that in mind, I'm waiting for it to get worse - on the one hand, it's pretty miserable, but on the other, it's so normal when you know you'll end up bald to not accelerate the processus.
He looks great with his head shaved (not that he didn't before). After hiding under a cap for the last year or so and watching through many of of the Baldcafe transformation videos finally decided to shave mine off a few weeks ago. I've had my hat off more time's in the last 2 weeks than the past year or two. Totally love the look and completely at peace with no worrying anymore. These videos definitely give you the courage to just do it and get on with it.
2023 was the worst year for me baldcafe I started to lose my hairline I kept looking at your videos to motivate myself to be confident but I couldn’t get over it I got a hair transplant in Mexico my hair is growing again.
Make sure you get on finasteride mate. Otherwise your hairtransplant will end up poorly in a few years. Got to keep the hair around your newly transplanted hair
Fair one dude at least you gave all the options a go. This acceptance path is always there for anyone so do your thing and I hope you find peace with it all brother. Here’s to a better year 👍
I've been bald for 5 years. Grew it back and realized I still have some hair. It's more like a Norwood 3. It doesn't look as good as bald, but I'm rocking it because I know I wouldn't care at all to just shave it off, which I definitely will eventually. Taking the step is freeing in many ways.
So many people on this show are so good looking to start with. Shaved head looks good on them and probably better than thinning longer hair, but they're attractive either way.
Shaved my head lots of times and i grow it back bein bald is just as bad as thinking about how you look with hair just rock it with hair & no hair then u are truly over it & dont think about it
While this channel is empowering and encouraging, it also has unhelpful elements. There is no need for a guy who still has a lot of hair like this dude to go all-the-way bald in one step, when there are flattering short hair styles that could work for him.
What's that buzzer he is using?? I want to get that one for when I buzz my hair for the first time. It looks great because it'll get the job done nice and clean and in a quick fashion. If anybody knows, please comment. Thanks!
The identity explanation is true. People always had a tough time remembering/pronouncing my name, so they called me the "kid with the hair". I had beautiful hair and it started going at 17. 28 today and I can't get rid of the hat. Its pretty brutal.
@@buyerofsorts i did when I was 19 and have been ever since. Doesnt really help, but i cope with the "better than balding" sentiment. People still look at me like I'm sick. It is what it is I guess. Ive been subbed to this channel for years now and it helped me in some way because Harry is a cool guy and I like listening to him speak.
The identity is not the issue. Stop lying to yourself and others. If hypothetically going bald made you far more attractive and better received by others, I doubt you would have a problem with no longer being called the "kid with the hair". I'm sure that being called the "handsome bald guy" would be enough consolation. What you really fear is the fact that statistically you will be found profoundly less attractive. This is what happened to me.
@@Dr.Lemmy_C_Yabum Yeah there's no doubt it sucks going bald. I started balding at about 24. I suffered for 20 years with it and hated it. Then when I was about 45, I stopped giving a shit. I mean, how many more decades could I keep caring? Besides, I looked better with no hair than what I had left. But anyway, it if still bothers you, have you looked into SMP? And is your scalp all white and not tan as the rest of your face? That will definitely make you look ill.
@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa I never said it was the MAIN issue, but it is a big part of the emotional stress that comes with losing the thing that's been attached to me all of my young life, in a form of recognition. Im as average of a human being as they come in all aspects, so I know losing my hair definitely has knocked out a large portion in the SMV department. Your attempt at black pilling me is pretty cringe because im much more aware of your "statistics" than you're assuming. All i was doing was touching on the "identity" aspect of what the dude was saying.
Have always had a high hairline naturally and also widows peak, at 24 I can see a little bit of thinning in the temples, so any receding will make it look like I’m really deep into male pattern baldness when I’m not. going to try natural remedies for a year, biotin etc. if no luck, finasteride, then if no luck monoxidle, then hair transplant, I feel lucky enough that I’ll be able to maintain my hair for my 20s and ealry 30s, which I’m happy enough with
Before going bald I had a healthy amount of success using dating apps. I met both of my ex girlfriends through the apps and was also able to engage in casual relationships, which was my preference for long periods. Having gone bald, I get far fewer matches and with less attractive women. The women also are less interested in me physically and dating them lacks the romance and passion that it did in the past. Nothing else has changed since I lost my hair bar making more money and getting into slightly better shape. This is the reality that is not adequately addressed and is leading many men like me to go insane. For how long are we going to keep deluding ourselves?
The apps aren’t working so get off them and bypass the immediate bald no with your charisma and personality. What do you want? Hook ups or long term relationships? The two you had previously that you met via the apps didn’t work out long term so doesn’t that mean the apps didn’t fulfill your goal (if it is long terms relationships) anyway? I didn’t man. Listen I get the point you are trying to make but to what if it is harder? Or you get less matches. Persist until you get it right or give up or carry on a lifetime of chasing hair to get more matches online… those are you three options I guess. Just got to keep going.
@@Baldcafe What does it tell you about being bald that you need to bypass the immediate no that comes from it? And a romantic relationship that doesn't have an aspect of physical attraction is doomed in most cases. I would like to have hook ups whilst I look for a long term relationship. But in reality few girls want to hook up with a bald guy when there are more attractive guys wanting to do the same. Your choice is a false one. The real one is to cope or not. Either way, the outcome is the same. This is why men are losing their minds and unaliving themselves.
Well I honestly wish you the best with your world view and I wish you all the success king. Read Coach Corey Wayne, mode one, and look into what goes into attraction. Have your mission and stick to it. Peace out 👍
Met my gf of 4 years as a bald dude. She loves it lol. You’re fishing for the wrong girls mate. You want someone who’s noy superficial and will unconditionally love you through everything. Good luck in finding that.
@@kevenadrien Hair is life. With all due respect, your girlfriend must either be unattractive and so not able to get a good looking guy with hair (therefore having to settle for one without) or you are a very lucky guy who can pull it off.
I enjoy this channel just bc it's a great channel - you don't need to be bald to enjoy or have an opinion or feedback - My 2 cents on environment/genetics 🧬 - I can only speak for myself. You can see some of me in my profile picture. I'm 53. My father still has a full head of hair too. I wash my hair a few times a week. I was a smoker from 15-35. I don't take any medication for my hair. When I was a young musician in the 1980s I had my hair high/low lighted/moosed/hair sprayed/etc. I'm sure some things can accelerate hair loss if you're heading down that road anyways but I'm a firm believer that it's in your genes. I did nothing to deserve a head of hair. It's a crap shoot.
I've just shaved mine before i went away on holiday to Turkey for 8 nights , I just went to barbers and said grade 1 buzz cut all over and actually went down to a 0.5 , the barber was super cool and they other people in the shop the customers and barbers made it feel like a journey moment lol , it was not as scary as I had built it up to be for perhaps the last year as that's about how long I've been considering shaving it , I'm super happy with it but I've just got to buy myself some clippers and learn to shave it myself now else it will cost like 15 quid every two weeks lol , I can see myself going down to a zero grade aswell probably pretty soon , the best thing I like about it the ease of every day actions now not having to worry how it will affect your perfectly positioned hair that you spent ages arranging to try n cover the ever present reality of the fact it is time to shave it off , like trying on different t shirts when u can't make your mind up before u go out to playing with kids and before trying to avoid them touching your hair , everyone so far has said it suits me now it's shaved and I'm super happy with it but I do go bk to work tomorrow after the holiday so I'm expecting a slight ribbing but I'm not on the level of worrying about this no more
Harry posted a video a few days ago of himself going to the gym without his cap for the first time. It's worth watching. Be yourself, be brave and you'll be proud of yourself, no matter what other people think or say.
I had really long hair for 4 years I shaved my head 2 months ago and honestly the first month it looked like I was balding really hard But now it looks much better I guess the smaller hairs that are going to disappear in the next few years grew just enough to make it look fuller
It is a journey...no doubt. I have my own for which i even took the time to record and post an update some years back. And now TODAY (these days for the past 9 months), with everything I've done...buzzing my head down with a Number #1-Guard on the weekly is great. I love it and appreciate my HT's framing of my face with everything buzzed. I always say, "What You Focus On....EXPANDS". And with many fellas here, the "letting go", making the decision and embracing is by itself a very cathartic move towards peace of mind, heart and soul. ✌🌱 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iO8GntwctFI.html
Your hair isn’t even that bad and having it buzzed like this would make using rogaine such a breeze if you want to keep what you still have. Rogaine sucks when you have long hair.
Rogaine doesn't suck with long hair though. Just apply it at night and wash your hair in the morning and that's it . It can be used only once a day. But Rogaine by itself won't save your hair long term . Finasteride is the key to keep your hair. Rogaine is good but it has to be used alongside finasteride. Hope this helps 🙏
How do i get incontact with BaldCafe? I've been balding, Norwood 3-4.. i've been battling it so much and i'd love to talk about my story. Wearing glasses, being pale, and being bald? I feel like i would look like i have an illness :( i am struggling just to shave it off, i feel like i will be less of myself.. less attractive etc.
