One of my closest friends recently decided that he no longer wanted anything to do with Christianity. He gave himself to God a few years back, but has hit a very rough patch. This video is very relevant to his story. Very hopeful to hear.
If you've been continuously pursuing the faith and growing in the word, no you will not lose it. If you stray away multiple times, just as Hebrews 6:4-6, 10:26-27, 2 Peter 2:20-22 and all of Romans 1 wanrs (among a few other passages I've forgotten) you can harden your own heart by choice
Wow man, it is crazy I stumbled upon your videos tonight. I have been watching them on different topics. You are truly inspiring, and I like how you address certain topics that are asked and such. I am a Christian myself, and it can be hard on a daily basis to do what is right. It is also cool, you admit your faults, and that you are not perfect. As I feel the same way. I try to be humble, and modest on a daily basis also. I will admit that I haven't gone to church in many months. But I do pray to God before I go to bed, and try to read the Bible when I can. Although I need to read it more,. God Bless you man!
Job is a very good example: he really went through hell; he struggled and really tasted the bitterness of darkness...and in the end he never rejected God.

If we have Christ in us shouldn't we be showing the fruits and gifts of who he is in us, There has to be a Psychic change in us, I mean in our spirit and demeanor. This is truly a subject of great debate. As I watched your video I was thinking of someone who once loved ministering through the Christian music world. His case may be different. Not only did he walk from his faith, but sadly now curses Christ and Christianity. I still pray for him.
I got a Feeling I know who youre talking about.My belief is the man I am thinking about was never actually a real Christian.I cannot see how it's possible to be a true Christian then become a total Atheist who curses Christ and says terrible things against Him and Christianity.Thats my angle on the subject.
This is the question, isn't it? All of us that proclaim Christ as Lord and Savior have our prodigal son moments where we stray from God for a day, a week, a year. But like the prodigal son, we always end up running back to Him. So, can someone be a Christian and then just walk away and forsake it all forever? I think that if someone can walk away from Jesus forever and never look back, they never knew Him to begin with.

I could Quote many scriptures on this subject,but I feel in my heart the best one is Romans 8 verses 38 and 39.Not even the devil and all his minions can separate the Christian believer from God's love in Christ,either here or in the world to come.And dying and going to hell is that Separation from God.So can any Christian go to hell?No way .

But I never let a petty disagreement stand between me & my brethren✋ my conviction stems not so much from what the bible says; but more so from the visions & dreams many in the body of Christ are receiving about supposedly "saved" Christians being seen as ending up in hell. I can't just brush that aside!😞😑
I totally agree with you on this subject. I believe the only way a person could not be saved anymore is if they tell God that they don't want to believe in Him in anymore and want to walk away from the Christian faith and renounce Him.
If they have that attitude, perhaps they were never truly saved to begin with. Bible talks about people doing many things in "His name", but God never knew them!
I agree with OSAS as well. My Jesus is not nor ever was an Indian giver nor is he unable to hold onto what he died for. I dont care what the armenians say

A good example of testimony of what you are talking about is "Big Chick Huntsberry" who used to be bodyguard and Venue security for a lot of famous rock stars and groups. He came to the Lord and accepted Christ. Later something happened and he became (in his own words) twice the servant of satan than he was before. But you know what? God was faithful and never left him, and eventually he came back to the Lord. Check out his story. RIP Charles Huntsberry (1941 -1990)
"For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified." Hebrews 10:14 Jesus only had to pay ONE sacrifice for all sin!!! That includes your past, present and future sins. As Paul writes in Romans 6:1, God's grace is NOT an excuse to sin, but that doesn't change the nature of Jesus death, burial and resurrection and what it accomplished. If our salvation at any point was up to us maintaining it, we WOULD fail!!! He keeps us and sustains us, even when we fall, and we will fall at times. Like Paul says in Romans 7:25, he struggled with sin daily, but "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin." Paul also gives Believers a challenge in 1 Corinthians 3 to be mindful of the foundation we build in our walk with Christ. If that foundation is built on "wood, hay and straw" it will be burned up and rewards lost, but not salvation (1 Corinthians 3:15). PB, what if you don't ask forgiveness for your sins? What if you've once been a Jesus following christian, and then decide not to follow anymore? Wouldnd rather that be called losing your salvation?

***** do you not understand what willful sin is? it is carefully weighing it out and considering it then intentionally doing it knowing the consequences but not caring. I pray that i have never done that since ive received the knowledge of the truth, and trodden the Son of God under my feet and counted the blood of the new covenant an unholy thing inspite of the Spirit of grace.
WHATtheyCALL You've been brainwashed by the words of man.. Sin is sin in the eyes of the Lord. One sin is no worse then the other. Killing a man or lusting after a woman is the same in God's eyes. We as human beings sin every single day. Sometimes by choice and other times totally unaware of it. God's gift of salvation is just that a free gift, not requiring constant labor to keep, contrary as to most evangelical churches will preach. We're all going to die with some element of sin on our backs. So accept the fact your salvation is a gift that nobody can ever take from you, or continue to labor with acts of good, and walking on egg shells in order to keep it.
The only people who ask this question are the people who are living like they wish and want it to be ok. The standard is holiness. Be ye holy for I am holy. Abstain from the appearance of Evil. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. let a person deny themselves pick up their cross daily and follow Christ. Many many more scriptures. If your fruit is rotten or absent from your life your not saved. Hell will be your home. A true sincere Christian will never ask that question.
Luigi Xoxo. Luigi if one is saved, one would be able to know by the fruit in one's life. Christ Jesus himself said you will know them by their fruits. Christ blood covers our sin and imputes his righteousness upon us. Many acknowledge Christ even demons but they are not saved because they don't obey. Christ says why do you call me Lord and not do what I say. The Lord is talking to people who claim to be saved when he says depart from me I never knew you. I can give much more truth but you need to know for sure!
UFCNUTTA I never said that. One is not saved by good works. One is saved for good work's. The proof of one's salvation is how they are living their lives. We all come short of the glory but if you are continuing to live a life contrary to the word then you are fooling no one but yourself and your testimony has no power.

You say "don´t write", but please, I really don´t understand this. Honestly, how do you reconcile this with free will? What you are saying is in effect that once you say yes to Jesus, God removes your ability to say no. That seems to violate the very fundamentals of a relationship. Why does the Bible talk about people falling and about the necessity of perseverance for salvation if there is no such thing as a fall? Ezekiel 18:21-24 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? “But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die. This bible quote is clear that if you turn from righteousness and commit sin then you will lose your salvation - you will die. Yes, I know that this is an Old Testament quote but Jesus came to fulfill the entire law and not change it. Also, Jesus himself said that the blaspheming against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven: Mark 3:28-30(KJV): Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith so ever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. So I don't know, I would like to believe that what Pastor Bob says is true, but here are two Bible quotes which don't quite agree.

Radkon Psygami Both of those are Old Testament Quotes. This is before Christ. Christ will forgive all sins past, present or future. That's the good news! No human will ever achieve full holiness and lesser sin isn't better than greater sin. Once saved always saved
Jack Valentine - I though Jesus said that he didn't come to do away with the law (Old Testament) but to fulfill it. What you are espousing is Calvinistic teaching - once saved always saved. . . essentially giving their followers a license to sin away. But let's say that somehow you are right - that his indeed is a case of Old Testament being supplanted by New Testament teaching. Jesus in New Testament was more strict - according to him you don't have to physically commit an act of adultery to be judged guilty, all you have to do is look upon her with lust in your heart. You don't have to physically kill your "brother" in order to commit murder, all you have to do is have unjustified anger against him in order to be in danger of judgment.
***** - You will be forgiven if you ask to be forgiven. . . but then there is also the issue of CONSEQUENCES. . .which don't quite disappear. I had a friend whose son was a drug addict - a terrible sin. He went to a church led by a Calvinist pastor who convinced him that Jesus died for his sins and he is "forgiven". . . so he kept on doing doing thinking that Jesus would "forgive him" and make the sin go away. . .and then he died of drug overdose.
***** - it is sad, but what can I say . . . I myself have been finding some things about Christians faith which don't quite add up, or examples in my own personal life (or lack thereof) which don't quite line up.
Recently I've come to believe you cannot Lose your salvation. Just like you have explained in this video. I mean that's to say saTan has more power than God. I wonder if more people are going to get into heaven than we think. Like in rev 21:4 makes me wonder if it's like to realise youve been a fool and still be accepted into heaven but that's just a thought and guess maybe if somebody leaves you have to wonder if they really accepted Christ in the first place or just jumped on the hype.
Or what if someone decides not to believe anymore, or turn to another religion? Ofcourse God would forgive you for those sins if you choose to acknoledge you're wrong. You can't just accept Jesus and do anything you want and expect God to say you're forgiven. God is the Lion and the Lamp. If you don't confess your sins God wont just let you into heaven.
Can you lose your salvation? First, how do you know you are saved? Do you examine your life to see if you are in the faith? That is presumption! Paul said, "I do not even judge myself." We are not to judge whether we are saved or not! So, how is it that I have known for more than 40 years, without even one second of doubt, that I am going to heaven? You will have to look up the answer. Consider it. Does it apply to you? If not, then my guess is, you are not saved! That is, if you can doubt your salvation, I do not know if you are saved! The ONLY way you can KNOW you are saved is Romans 8.16. Do not hope, guess, or wonder. Jesus promised 'rivers of living waters, bubbling up to eternal life." Have you been born again? Do you know God personally? How can you meet the God Who made the universe - and not know it?? If you have doubts, you probably have not met Him. No one can make me afraid concerning my standing with God. You can have that too! I am talking total assurance. You have not because you ask not, at least not mixed with faith. The best way to receive the promises of God is to thank God for them - as if you have already received them. This is probably the most important message some of you have ever heard. Narrow is the way; just make sure you are in it!

So Jesus died for every sin except that which you and I "willfully" commit, and then don't repent from?? If you proclaim to not repent from that particular sin, then the non-repentance of that sin happens to be another sin. Guess that means Jesus never died for that sin. If that's what you believe, then that is where we part ways.

It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.
