If you’re open to East coast, Run for the Diamonds 9 mile is in November in PA. 1st-7th get diamond rings (probably decent value for the challenge ) but the course record is 43:20 since 1980 and it’s 1k if you break it. Crazy course with 400ft climb in the third mile then all downhill
Really enjoyed this video can't wait to see the rest of the series. Would be terrible for content if you just won it all in one more race now (after the Utah hm, obvs) 😂 wish i was even close to competing for prize money lol
that's so dope I can't wait to do Bloomsday 2025, I was training for my first marathon that day and had to do a 20 mile long run so I didn't participate!
Very cool challenge! Do prizes need to be cash? Our local marathon/half give prizes like luxury watches and free trips with course records of 2:33/1:07
Cool idea, man. There's a real problem with the lack of prize money in Europe for rather expensive events - what you're doing could contribute to the convo around that. Plus the money you're earning would be a real difference maker for a lot of runners, so it will inspire people.
lol I had nearly this exact idea but it would have been $5k since I am slower than you. Also, I think you might be missing out on some content by not including non cash prizes and then selling on Ebay. People love channels about flipping stuff. Last year I cashed ~$3,500 even though I'm old and slowing because a totally random half I ran had a 5k/2.5/1 prize pool that literally no one knew about.
