All of her videographic idiosyncracies -- the sly self-deprecation, the doggie subtitles, the jarring non sequiturs, the brilliant jump cuts, and countless other features of her (apparently instinctive) style -- conspire to make Rachel Maksy episodes supremely watchable. Multiple times. She is a true RU-vid joy and pleasure. Many RU-vid creators are smart, skilled, and useful. Maksy, however, defines a unique category, one for which I am grateful, and I'm sure I am not alone in that.

Hey Rachel. Great job on the two outfits/x3 garments. A suggestion for if you ever want to do this again is to get 1 or 2 extra pillowcases in a contrasting shade/colour or pattern. So just say you wanted to add more length to the skirt hem, shirt sleeves or a contrasting collar/belt, then you can use the other pillow cases basically as a trim for the item. Or go completely patchwork by cutting up all the pillowcases and make one big piece of fabric that you can then put your pattern on! I have made aprons and skirts this way, as well as throw pillows for my bedroom and living room. Id love to see you try quilting as its all just fabric off cuts and a simple small quilt is the best for a couch quilt. I like to make square or round ones and put them on the headrest of my 3 seater sofa, if I have any leftovers I just make a match cushion to match. Plus it seems that we both love our neutrals= Brown and white, plus green so the quilt would look great anywhere. I used to make dresses out of pillowcases when I was a kid! It was so fun! Edit to say your method was much more official than mine! I was too young to sew so I would just cut holes and wear it tied with ribbon. I thought I was so innovative but I just looked like a girl in a pillowcase.

Its fun seeing Rachel's sewing skills improve over time, sewings a hard skill. I love the variety of content, cosplay, DIY crafts, vintage, look book belle, Anne etc. Even hair and make up. My only complaint with this channel is that the cat(on so rarely for get it name and gender) rarely gets any air time compared to Frodo! But am biased towards cats, dogs nice too but let the cat have the spotlight too lol.
