Can I Save this Subscriber's CK3 Game? 

This was my game that Zieley saved. I want to sincerely thank him for helping me out. The King of Aquitaine my original liege was captured almost immediately upon the war being declared, even though I was helping siege down Andalusian targets. I thought it would be game over but I was left with 2 counties. I had lost Barcelona which I spent 1000s of gold upgrading over the life of my first character (started as a custom 3 yr old duchess) I didn't realize I could swear fealty as a Catholic to a Muslim and have them accept. My future plan for the game will be to slowly form the Empire of Hispania but stick just to the de-jure borders. I'll consider the game done once the Iberian peninsula is under my control. Thanks again Zieley! Can't believe how easily you handled the revoke title request from the Sultan, I would not have handled it so well - Perfection

You know, this is a great way to teach new players how to play the game. A tutorial is really good for the starting player but this teaches you ''how'' to play the game. This teaches players that its not always game over when something bad happens and that you can make a comeback. Good job on this video and make this a series!

Pikemen is really good in Iberia though because the Iberian unique unit is a light cavalry so EVERYONE WILL HAVE LIGHT CAVALRY.

Great video as usual! You can remove the commander on the march to attract the enemy or prevent him from escaping from you and then assign a commander when you or enemy have a gray arrow

That character was 1 learning perk away from "Learning on the Job" when you switched from Learning to martial focus. Learning on the Job is a huge bonus, and way more important than getting the extra control per month. Going martial is a decent choice, but the extra skills would be way better, unless your councillors are bad.

I really hope future updates nerf swearing fealty, it’s way too broken to do what you did and dismantle an empire if you swear fealty even with high taxation and levies. Demand council position is broken, especially for stewards. Hopefully they limit the number of wars you can declare, ie: your liege imprisons you etc

This video affirmed to me, apart from the fact that you are a true expert sir, that rage quitting in CK3 is just not the way to play. Which I also learned after a large group of vassals took my king title recently through plotting, after which nobody wanted to help the new king out and he was outnumbered 5 to 1 by me. 5 years after the fact I was king again. It thoroughly is a rollercoaster game.

You play CK3 like a surgeon performs an operation. Incredible to watch.

Had the same strategies apply in game to real life and had you been an actual ruler during those time, I many Historians would call you Zieley the Great. Coz this was one hell of a save. I would have just restarted. But I'm still a newbie in this game and hell I love it so much, even if I only have a tiny kingdom.

I have a “lot” of hours in this game (which I’ve been playing since CK1), and I thought that there weren’t many situations that I couldn’t get out of but you take the cake. I know you don’t play your own games, but if you did, I wonder if you’d try a historical Bulgarian 867 start. With 2 caveats: 1) Must fight off (at least white peace) against Magyar invasion and 2) form Empire of Southern Slavia without swearing fealty or being subjugated by Byzantines.

Wish the ai was a bit more competent when developing their own land so the game becomes harder but also if you siege a land the rewards are better. Not needing to do everything yourself.

Hey Zieley. I dont know if you just said it wrong or do not know it but religious taxation does not stop a ruler from revocing your land due to your religion being diffrent from his it just stops him from converting you and your land. The Opinion of the ruler generally helps to stop the ruler from revocing your land if you are of diffrent religion.

These videos are great. Nice to see practical examples of how to play, even when things are looking dire. So I'm guessing the move would have been to, after you swore fealty with religious exemption, to then go and change your feudal contract for either title protection or a council position, make yourself his spymaster, then use that to murder him, right? No roasting, just thinking about the strategic options.

This game is too easy. With 1.5k hours the only save I ever lost was a custom created character with only 300 customization points, it’s a personal handicap I set when playing custom characters because even under the 400 cap it’s too easy, as a Roman/Hellenistic male in the one county minor of Napoli. Couldn’t avoid holy wars from big Italy or the Byzantines. Still was able to free myself from Maghrebi/Muslim liege and get duchies of Calabria, Sicily and another one before getting trampled after securing my own freedom

I moved to Mexico without my computer so your videos are my only CK3 fix. Next month I travel home to visit and will pack my giant PC back to Mexico with me. I’ll be going by land so it should be ok versus the airports. Via La CK3! 😅

The youtube algorithm works in mysterious ways. Back when Hearts of Iron and Crusaders Kings was shipping I had a friend working at the development department of paradox. I played the games... and bitched about them. He wasn't offended, rather taking notes.

I start to play ck3 just a few days ago and i didn't discover yet all ways and tricks of the game, but i have a bit of difficulties like all my lands what i occupied split to my sons and i lose the right of them every time my character dies, then i can't upgrade my buildings bcs of my culture , other problems are that around me bysantine empire grows very quicly. Would be interesting to see how you will figure my situation, seems like u are ver good in this :)

Right now I'm kinda struggling to keep four descendants together as independent rulers in four kingdoms, I don't play ironman so I'm able to swap into another character and secure successions, but I mostly leave everyone on they're own only really negotiating alliances and maintaining peaceful realtionships

I love the stupid decisions the AI makes from time to time, like how in your video those 60 dudes throwing themselves onto your swords or like in my game when some guy with like 500 levies attacks my empire when I can raise 20k men

tbh crusader kings 3 is just to easy and after i get my kingdom (which happens very fast while i only start with 1 county) i get pretty much bored.

I was playing was able to get a war on England called my Allie’s my biggest decided he wanted to attack a different area other just pulled his troops out I lose half my military a civil war happens a second civil war happens a third happens and then the on that abondind me asked me to help him take England

Idk if it's the volume mixing or what but the jokes are extremely jarring and take me out of the video and don't feel like they match the tone and of the style of video But I love the premise i would like if the save was posted in the description so we can try them ourselves im itching for a hard run right now

If you revoke a title you have claim on and they rise up against you then you have 2 valid reasons for revocation. You have to revoke the title for rising up against you first and then revoke you vour valid claim and neither will incur tyranny. :)

I feel the AI just doesn’t attack the player anymore. Maybe it’s just me and my gamestyle but I’m never declared upon other than liberty factions

is it possible for you to do this with a console save? had a pretty damn good game going, had all of ireland and some more but i died and i guess my succession got messed up now i own ireland majority of france and spain and about 6 wars with absolutely no reputation

hey mate can you do it on total war: three kingdoms. i desided to kill cao cao in the 194 start date and then my susscor got killed as well and lu bu overran me, after my another warlord declared war on me and i had to let my southern territory to a vassal to hold them off while dealing with lu bu.

Amount of times I’ve had my title revoked has made me always modify the vassal contract to ensure I can’t get a title revocation.

Perfect example of why humbling yourself to a liege will help you avoid a game over and make a come back.

I thought it was a bug in the game that you can never murder anyone with lower than 95% chance, but it seems it's just my luck :)

Ziely you have me the courage to complete the Kingdom of Mann. Now I am the manliest man in the history of mankind that man has known till now. Mine is a one county kingdom with 30 development and 2500 Varangians at the least... Not to mention the others that I am going to get soon.....

You should ransom war prisoners before ending a war if you're annexing that nation in the war. For example, when you sniped the Northeastern Sheik in Barcelona, he was only one province and you had his heir. You could've ransomed his heir for 25-100 Gold before ending the war

Additionally, swearing fealty with Religious Taxation doesn't count as changing your contract, so you can IMMEDIATELY go in and re-negotiate to increase your levies and prevent title revocation too.

Not bad for 22 years. - I did not see you switching your spymaster to "support schemes" for the murders, but maybe he was already on it. - A commander with the Organizer trait could perhaps have helped when you were chasing down enemy armies.

Ehh, once you understand the game mechanics you can win from almost any position in Ck2 and 3. The question though is learning the mechanics. After 1,000 hours you should rarely ever lose in any playthrough. You only lose if you choose the hardest starts and the a.i targets you.

I have a challenge for u, it is a game play of faith, u have to start as a western European ruler but as pagan and organize the faith and create a new Pagan faith for Europe. Reforming pagan is an ass, só i think it make a nice campaign, and u don't have to start with a tribal ruler if u don't wanted. The place of start most difficult, i think, would be starting in England or even as a Irish, who was the celts of old age and fit on the story.

Idk why but for me your videos are perfect to fall asleep. Just the tone is not too bright and not too nerd. I just love it. And also as a no native english speaker I can refocuse my brain snf stop understanding 50% of your speech when I close my eyes which is also relaxing

I assumed the disaster guy had pikes because iberia has a cultural light horse (thus you're going to fight a lot of light horse and want to counter them), would you say that armored footmen are just that much better so it's still better than the countering play?

I’ve never even played this game and my first thought was drop that weak king you’ve sworn fealty to and swear fealty to the Muslim guy and then wait for him to die and hope to do something against the sons. I've spent the last two weeks watching ck3 videos. I wanted to propose two challenges that I never see. Become the most beloved king, that is, only make benevolent decisions despite harming you.
