on JackSucksAtGeography we upload a range of easy to watch geography related games. We mainly play Sporcle games like "naming all 197 countries". I successfully learned all 197 countries and plan to learn more Geography trivia. On this channel I also play Geoguessr. This is a game that uses Google Street View to drop you in a random location and you have to work out exactly where you are on the worldwide map. Geoguessr was created in 2013. Because Jack doesn't name the countries based on location, I think it makes him forget them easier. Although when he did know them all, it made him better at the no-map version than if he used the map

omg that's so true, I already learnt them based on location (it felt easier) but they became way stronger when I starred playing no map version and kinda became good at it and now I just can't miss a country lol

Learning Capitals would probably help him with remembering countries and flags as well. Once’s he’s got all 3 up there all he needs is a Fact about each. Then he’s prepared for any hypothetical Conversation about any Country in the world. Someone will be like “I just got back from Trinidad and Tobago it was great” Jake be like “did you know the Capital is Port of Spain and the flag is a Black stripe on a red background, oh and by the way they have a boisterous carnival featuring calypso and soca music” And the other will be like “No I didn’t know”

Not bad at all, for so long not doing it. The only one I found it was weird you forgot is Uzbekistan, as it's easiest to do the "stans" together and if done as such it's hard to forget. The other forgotten ones are tricky.

Started learning all the countries too. I know all of Africa, Asia, South America, North America except for the islands, most of Europe, and a little bit of Oceania (There are a lot of tiny islands as you know). about 160 countries total. Edit: Now I know all of them.

Being from Shropshire I can understand how he forgets it, 95% of British people who ask me where I live have never even heard of Shropshire. They'll know Shrewsbury and occasionally Telford but never the county they're in. Also Shropshire gets a red line under it so apparently google spell checker doesn't even know it is a place.
