Hello, fan from Estonia over here! I lived in a dorm while I went to university, 15 years ago or so. I never had much money (and when people DO have money while they study and live in a dorm?). In dorm most important thing was: you always had booze - wine, beer... whatever. And then came food. And what people in dorm usually ate were those noodles and cheap frozen dumplings (with sour cream - yep). Instant noodles were usual everyday meal. Those flavored pot noodles would´ve been a luxury back then :D Anyway.... I love watching your videos, but this one bought back so many memories I decided to comment first time ever over here. You are one of the coolest RU-vidrs. I always thought to send you some tasty stuff from where I live, but I have been too lazy to check out the address to send it to. Yes I remember moving home for the summer, after my first year, as a wreck of a young man compared to when I arrived. The fridge I carried out of the place felt twice as heavy as when I had gone there and taken it with me to begin with. All that booze and bad food had done its work.

The only thing that would have made this better was watching him eat the full english, I think we deserved to see Cal happy after having to suffer for a week straight and would have brought the whole thing together
Apparently there was a little deleted or omitted scene from this just before the 1 o clock in the morning bit where he was downstairs having a massive rant about pot noodles and how much he hates them but when he opened the door to get some fresh air, the cat just screamed " Cat!!" and bolted straight out the door with him screaming " oh for fuck's sake!" and then the clip ended. There was also another one somewhere before the end where he was fed up but it was his other rant about pot noodles again but then in between his shouting, the cat came up to him and went " Cat!" so he screamed " would you get lost!!"😂

Really random fact. Pot Noodle used to refer to the mango sauce as ‘mango chutney’ when those curry noodles were first manufactured but they quietly changed it to ‘sauce’ a few years later - likely to avoid an unnecessary kerfuffle.
Hey Callum, im not very happy about this. Its fuelled a previous, albiet dangerous prior addiction to the nice and spicy noodle in a pot. This has now sparked dreadful cravings. Im labelling you now as my enabler. 😂
I did 2 years eating nothing but pot noodles, cold tins of baked beans, and the occasional bag of chips. When I lived in bedsits many years ago. I'm still here to tell the tale 40 years later.

I'm fed up with all the uni people in the comments thinking that they had to buy pot noodles when they were broke because there's countless good home cooked meals with store bought ingredients that you can prepare for no more than 3£
@@mr.100rupees3bear in mind that students also have less time on their hands to prepare meals due to studying, part time jobs and other commitments such as sports.
Callum go to Ellesmere port, its ranked one of the most depressing towns in England so it would be a good video seeing if you could last a week there 🫡
Callum perhaps do a challenge video that is more of an experiment, such as eating how Eddie Abew would suggest for 2 weeks and reporting on how you feel. You're not living to 120 if you're drinking coke, eating crisps and sosauges with preservatives in them all the time

Brilliant achievement!! Can you do one with those nutritious Peperami sticks for a week challenge? I see them ss being your lookelikie spirit food.
