British army rations are pretty good, actually. Only bad thing about them is everything either makes you shit immediately or constipates you. Many will have heard of biscuit browns... My favourite thing in the packs were something called oatmeal blocks. I'd get peanut butter from recruits that didn't like it and cover those chunky biscuits in it. Divine. Edit: And yeah, usually a 24hr pack would have 3 meals (including 1 desert), 3 snacks and some drinks. Tea, coffee and energy drink. Not sure why each of your packs only has 1 meal in it

I’m the sausage and beans breakfast, the beans contain a laxative, so for convenience we take the sausage out and have a few beans and supplement the protein with peanut butter. Honestly there is only one lunch that I despise and that is Mexican style tuna pasta that is dreadful 😂
there's 2 types of ration packs, the 24 hour ration pack and the 12 hour one. Callum got the 12 hour one which was mainly used for soldiers on shooting ranges

That can’t be true when I was in the cadets we had these exact pouches but just the 24 hour ones and the food is made too stop you from defecating so when your out on mission you don’t need to go
@@cheesepizza5139 so it would make sense that you keep the chewing gum on your person so at the end of the day you can evacuate your bowels after keeping it in all day? The whole MRE is designed to be constipating so you aren’t caught short it would make sense that there’s something in there that could undo the process so you can empty your ass lol
@@777-e1p yeah but when we where on camp we guilts out shelter and had too stay there in the forest through the night so there was really no use for it plus the smell can give away your position to the enemy
Whenever we're out in the field, there's always so many drink sachets and drink packets leftover, they give you so many. And pal, you get a packet of tissues every day, not just one haha it's more than enough. Never seen the halal chicken and the "meat sticks" one though. Can't believe you never got a single baked beans and sausages meal... You've been robbed ;_:
@@mikhailgorbachev7621 no they don't. The actual meals contain between 400-500 calories each. I've eaten enough of them lol. The entire 24 hour ration pack contains almost 4000 calories but a lot of that is the sugary drinks.
