But don’t they make the mountable foam blades anyway? You could buy like 40 of these just for the blade like how coop bought so many rapidstrikes for the mags lol
@@johnshepherd6925 You put the lime in the coconut. Lol Ok serious answer: I used the Gem or Star springs and put them into Bigshocks, since there are adapters available to fire various types of ammo. I’ve seen others use the Star’s 4-barrels as an absolver in other mods.
That gem spring is absolutely perfect for nesting in a Reflex 6/AF Destroyer spring. I just did one last night. The Gem spring is also perfect for a Strongarm. Definitely gets a little more pop then the stock spring. I've been buying up Gems just for their springs 😂🤣😂
The gems barrel jumped out, there are specific lines in the shell that hold them in place, make sure you get that assembled correctly! Could you take the four barrel and cylinder from the Wizzard and combine it with the body and priming bar of the Gem? Take the saw blade, remove all the plastic from it and make it a thrown weapon.
You know, I have been thinking about this for a long time, but do you think you could take the crosscut saw and make it fire from eir, like a vortex disk?
Hey Cap, love your vids! Speaking of shotgun pistols, justajolt made a video some time ago about cutting accustrike darts into slugs and fitting them into frontloaders or any turreted blaster and make mini shotguns
I got my gem to take a double spring load and I rotated the barrel and covered it in epoxy to seal it and it’s a beast plus I made barrel plugs to single and double it but it works well!!!
Love this concept. Shame half didn't work. Wonder if that Rebel Purse blaster thing would work. I want to someday have a shotgun pistol integrated under the barrel of another blaster.
Dude! Idea! Take a Dual-Strike, shove a K26 (or more) in there, and ditch the Elite ARs in order to get a shotgun that also shoots individual Mega darts!
I have been meaning to do this. I was hoping the get it to fire the first two elites at once and then the third but I have not figured out if it is even possible. I may just go with your idea. The one issue is the size/shape/ It will not holster well.
I just did the wizard mod as you have done however I also took out the air restrictors by using a flat screw driver and hammer on the black piece attached to the barrel. one dart shoots better than the others but I need to try more types of darts to see which is best
Gem: glue the barrel and plunger together. That would probably make it get some seal. Of course, resources are limited so you don't have to but hey. If you can try it.
I'm looking at that Wizard (the blaster, not the beadry man) and wondering if it'll take a Nightfinder/Firestrike integration. Hell if you could it might be interesting to alternate between firing 2 or 4 barrels. There's plenty of shell space, especially if you put an adult grip on it.
you need to try the night tek it will give you 3 shots of 2 or 2 shots of 3. the barrels are very good as they are tight throughout the full length and its pump action.
unfortunately, its a lot of work and will require you to cannibalize 1 or 2 other night teks for a piece that goes on the plunger tube and integrate it on the shotgun version.
Cap'n. I am here, and have an interesting idea. (Well, my dad does) A mechanical engineer build. You mash together a whole bunch of parts from different blasters into some kind of Frankenstein blaster.
I'm not well informed on the Wizard having only read one review where the blasters had manufacturing snafus. How good or bad is the Wizard? The rotating catch system obviously isn't great but other than that?
Considering it's been almost a year since, you probably had this idea already, but looking at the Star without the barrels in, it looks like you can use the shell as a forward grip integration and put a nice flashlight into it. Also, would it be possible to get a Monday Mod on loosening solvent welds? I want to shotgun my Crosscut as well, but I'm not a big fan of caveman-ing the internals...
I remember like 6 years ago i had 2 buzzbee gems and both of them evantually broke where the prime got tougher and tougher until one time i fired it and the handle completely flew off thank god i wasn't putting it in front of my face
Long story short, Found a Ultra-Tek Wizard, want to shoot 2 at a time. May I ask where you drilled the holes so i may get the same results before i upgrade spring and under mount it?
Chaylo, did you plug the release holes on that Crosscut? If not, you are severely missing out on a lot of power from the K26. I managed to put two holes in my wall from the stock spring and a Maverick spring, so I can imagine a K26 would be doing better. If I ever get around to it, I'll send you my garbage Crosscut that has the putty already over all the junk on the right side of the blaster. I tried to make it "Mermaid" themed for the Rebellion contest on Reddit, but failed to make the paint job and "scales" in the putty clean enough for my standards.
I know you aren't open for commissions but I was wondering if you could take a look at this and see if it is doable. It is a Jyn urso blaster with Trustfire batteries with one of those long shot stocks attached. I would also want a Nerf blow-dart gun attached to the front for the sniper look. Also barrels brasses and a cool paint job. Oh yeah and a laser pointer made internal with wires made so it is turned on when the rev trigger is on. And and awesome galaxy paint job. According to my calculations it would be around 210 (without brass, couldn't find it).
Why? It has been used to treat injuries since at least eh Vietnam war and is still used by medics, EMT's and Hospitals today. It works, it is sterile, and it creates a waterproof barrier.
I wired in a switch right below the main trigger. There is then a jack near the back of the gun that is wired to said switch. The shoulder blaster jacks into said jack allowing me to fire the shoulder blaster using the switch in EIR.
Captain Xavier unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to make it up that far this time for i had thought you guys were a bit closer to Vancouver lol
