Keon Coleman, the talented junior out of Florida State, has been the most polarizing WR in this draft class. We cut through the crap and dive into the one thing that matters most... the film. #NFLDraft #NFL #Seminoles #fsufootball
Nice breakdown, sticking with the FSU prospects would you do Jordan Travis? I feel like if it weren’t for the injury there would be a lot more buzz around him than there is
We need to go get bro he reminds me of bouldin big and physical also a lot of his passes he got was under thrown I think he should be our big guy with bate and Zay with the speed and mark/likely doing their thing
I’m gonna subscribe because the work you put in here is awesome. But you have got to start saying the word “route“ correctly. In football, there is a right way. And pronouncing it like the word root wrong lol. I’m kind of just joking, I appreciate the work you put in. You have a new subscriber in me?
I agree completely, he doesn’t have downfield deep separation speed. Neither does Amon-Ra St Brown, or Garrett Wilson, or Drake London. And at 6’3-6’4 you’re not gonna be a crisp route runner. You have to use your other strengths to make up for it, and I think Keon does that very well
@@Ravens752003 I care about winning. He could have the dullest personality on the planet and I would be fine as long as he's productive on this offense. Fuck his personality
Sorry man but these are terrible examples of separation. One on one vs a deep middle safety who's backpedaling with the whole field of space...contested catch on a curl where he has to run past the defender in zone in his blind spot and them time it up with the throw....and then another play where he runs past the zone defender and makes a cut in his blind spot... I feel like your just looking at the results on college film and not really thinking about what will work in the nfl. That being said he's a big framed guy and if he works at it he can be a solid slot and sometimes outside guy like tee higgins and be a solid receiver. There's a number of guys this size and as athletic or more athletic every year in the draft, and a few of them will have enough movement skills to make cuts. It comes down to which ones are able to develop the nuances as a pro. Tee Higgins was terrible his first year in the league as a bengal but he was able to develop going into his second year. So if you take him in the first or second round it's gonna be because you think he's just processes better and has the mental makeup of a pro wr. I wouldn't expect him to be great his first year. Another thing that maybe works in his favor is because he can't separate on the boundary he's gonna be forced into learning the fundamentals.
We will wait and see I've watched a dB couch talk about colemen and he's says he's got great routes and the idiots that say it looks like he has two left feet are just that idiots that don't know good fundamentals of routes
Good breakdown, though I believe your breakdown fails to show how his game translates to the next level, with better corners.. personally don’t think he’s a round 1 guy.
Thats what we have at the bills, im watching as much content on him as possible to see if he will be good bc after looking at his FSU tape seems like a 50/50 ball guy sneakily good after the catch but seems to have some issues with drops
@@hitorinolegend8373issues with drops? Did you even watch ‘the tape’ Keon had like 1 drop all year and it was a tough catch against UF. I’m an FSU fan and watched him all year and don’t recall him ever dropping a pass before that. Just saying anything lol
Dude doesn’t fit our scheme one bit. Andy doesn’t like 50/50 jump ball dudes especially ones that run a 4.67 40 yd dash. Adoni Mitchell, Brian Thomas Jr as X receivers, and Xavier Worthy, and Lad McConkey as Z & Y receivers are the most likely to go to KC.
If Chiefs take a wr in the first 2 rounds, they are taking Worthy, AD Mitchell, Mcconkey, Franklin, or Malik Washington. Coleman is the last guy I see Andy Reid wanting.
@@cjboyer4355I don't see BTJ or AD Mitchell falling to the Chiefs after their combine performances. I don't think BTJ makes it past the Colts, and I don't think AD makes it past the Texans. We will see though. AD or BTJ to the Chiefs would just be unfair.
@@chefturbo4117 yea idk why I even mentioned BTJ he will be out of reach but I could see a trade up in the early 20’s to get AD Mitchell. If not that you have to get Ladd or Worthy anyone other then that doesn’t fit our scheme or just isn’t worth a 1st round pick.
Coleman will be the best WR in the draft. He has the best hands, best leaping ability, strength in traffic. And he's shifty as he returned punts. You're just a racist hater lol
@@amariantiquity8543 racist? You're calling me a racist for saying Coleman is a future bust. That's absolutely absurd. Nothing I stated is racist by any stretch. You know nothing about me, my personal life or my family lineage, which happens to be multi-racial. I'm black, white and American indian. Stop with the bs.
@@adamwhitney8526 You wanted a trolling post saying Coleman would be a bust with no evidence, I will make troll post and say you are a racist with no evidence, Isn't trolling is fun. 🤣 Don't be so lazy next time
so if ya argument is Coleman wins on slants and hitches and some of the underneath well so does Bateman? Yes flowers Quick and shifty but i dont see him as that true vertical threat thats what we need. get Brian Thomas or resign Hollywood
So you are continuing to ignore his main problem with hands position when catching football. He catches football with his palms. It's just wrong! Needs to use fingers to accurately stop spinning football. And this is the reason why he dropped that first target in your video. Also this leads to body catching and cuts to YAC potential. And he will continue to drop balls in the NFL much more frequently with much more skilled corners defending him. Those one handed catches are inconsistent way to catch football. Better ignore them. Can't get vertical separation and can't catch football with proper technique that's a hard pass for me. We already have one such kind of flawed pass catcher on the roster in Mark Andrews. And he drops a lot in critical moments. That's enough.
@@RoadGradersFB Oh yeah? Really? On how many targets? Who charted them? Who decided which target was a drop and which one was catchable/uncatchable? Even you didn't notice that drop at a first glance while I was ROFLing about a full minute before you finally recognized it. I don't care your maded up stats LOL. I see the process. It's flawed. Bad results will eventually come with better opposition which is inevitable in the NFL. Better watch Quentin Johnston's lowlights as proper comparison for Coleman rather than highlights of Pickens.
@@RoadGradersFB Yes, I'm not scared to be alone with not popular opinion. Not the 1st time for me. Just remember our conversation and if/when Coleman is productive in NFL come and roast me. Or apologize if Coleman appears to be bust.
