Can Kershaw DOMINATE the modern "traditional" knife market? The Kershaw Culpepper - exclusive - 

I picked up the red bone Culpepper myself. You can tell it's a budget knife, but considering the price tag, it's not to bad. The edge terminates into the plunge grind a bit, but for under $25 I really can't complain. The red bone is really good looking. Whoever dyed the bone did a great job with it. I bought mine at Atlantic Knife, and last I looked, they still had some left.

I like that rosecraft knife.

If they keep the prices down to the $25-35 range, they could have a niche, I think. RoseCraft is better and more creative at the $45-60 range, and Rough Ryder rules the $15-25 range with lots of variety. I have a hundred RRs; four RRRs; one RCB, a Kershaw brandywine, a GEC and a Colt. You know what I’ll be buying. Lol. More RRs, with an occasional splurge on a RoseCraft. If Kershaw is serious about slipjoints, they need to make unusual patterns that everybody else neglects: gunstocks, teardrops, etc. That would draw me in, for sure.

Id be all over a premium kershaw traditional

Just bought the black g10 Culpepper, couldn't find a red version in this country. I like a Barlow, didn't have a larger one and liked the look of the Kershaw one. That simple! Very fond of red scales too, indoctrinated by Victorinox as a kid! Would have preferred the red but im happy with the black.

Man i want one. I have the original. D2 is an upgrade from 7cr of the original. Kershaw has another line of traditionals like the Brandywine i didn't care for.
