I'm sure that team would make it to worlds and do really well. Due to doublelifts insane positioning in team fights especially if he's on a late game carry like aphelios and spica's crazy play making skills on his pocket pick lillia. throw in another physical dps mid like lucian, a tank engage in the toplane like volibear to followup on any engages and a peel support like thresh to save doublelift and NA's bringing back a trophy baby!
The one per team rule makes this way harder. I think the biggest values on the board are Impact at $1 and River at $4. Impact is an amazing choice in such a top-forgotten metagame, where you don't have to send resources to him and know that in the late game he will have...well, an impact. Blaber and River are incredibly close, and those two have been playing so far ahead of the rest of the field that you really want one of those two. In addition, you don't really lose out a ton on the other members of their teams listed - Stixxay at $4 and Huhi at $5 are probably too expensive, Spica at $1 is a play but I really want River, I only really lose out on Vulcan at $1 as "things I'd like to take." Here's where my issue comes in. I also want Berserker despite the price tag, because I think he's just that far ahead of the rest of the ADCs in the field, and that sort of late game insurance is huge. But with Impact/River/Zerk, $5, my only options are Jensen/Core, Jensen/Zven, Jensen/Ignar (I am a Jensen hater in 2023), or APA/Ignar (lol). I'd LOVE to just slot in Palafox, I think $3+ at mid players are SO much better than Jensen/APA, but then I can't take Ignar, and I'm already blocked on Vulcan. So I ended up building a couple different builds. Impact $1 River $4 Jensen $1 Berserker $5 Core $3 Tip the extra dollar to Impact. This is the "okay found my compromise" play. If Jensen is more weighed down by his current team than I'm giving him credit for, this lineup probably smacks shit up hard. Ssumday $2 River $4 Palafox $3 Berserker $5 Vulcan $1 This build makes sure I still get two of the three players I most want, swap out the third for a cheap teammate of his I'm also high on, and the worst part of the build is having 2023 Ssumday on it, which isn't a huge loss. I am very happy with Pala on this team, and think he'd have great mid/jungle 2v2 with River (in my head they're both early game focused players). I also think Berserker/Vulcan would have the Berserker/Zven level synergy as general teammates, while being better in lane. Vulcan better carry the shotcalling load though. Impact $1 River $4 Jojo $5 DLift $2 Core $3 OH HEY THIS WAS ALREADY POSTED UNDERNEATH HERE AND SHOWED UP A TON IN THE VIDEO XD I'm not a huge DL fan but after Berserker him at $2 is the best ADC option. River/Jojo is nutso (Jojo needs that early game jungle to be fully unlocked), and you get to put them around 3/5ths of the dominant TL team. This is the chalk pick for a reason.
I think having Solo as the 1-dollar top choice would make things a lot more interesting while still sticking to the setup of the cost being related to team performance.
Surprised Jensen didn’t get picked more for a budget mid, but Impact was easily the best steal and mid does usually have more impact(lol). Would love to see these with less money available, feels hard to build a bad roster
Yeah I would go Blabler/Jensen for sure. I assume we're trying to get a really strong playoffs team for 15 dollars. Jensen levels up in playoffs and is great with Blaber. I would go: Impact Blaber Jensen Berserker CoreJJ
You know what we need? This on a fun event like All-Stars and then some of these teams actually play against each other. That'd be so much fun to watch.
I think it does the best at identifying the most important roles. Splash on mid/jungle then get the cheapest good player at top and support then just get the best ADC you can afford with what is left.
That roster (Impact, River, Jojo, DL, Core) is the one I would have picked. If not, we can just bring Xmithie from retirement and get 2019 TL... 2023 edition
My pick: Summit Blaber Jensen Doublelift Corejj DL/Jensen are legitimately good just inted by their teams, Corejj has been the best laning support $ would make them a deadly 2v2, last time we saw Summit/Blaber they were the best top 2v2 in the league. Only changes I could see are swapping Summit for Impact/Ssumday and using remaining points on Berserker
I don't know if I would call DL good. I mean, he is the best player *on his team*, but adc is pretty stacked right now in NA, so it makes sense to have him low.
Travis thanks for making these videos. They are super fun and love it to see players reaction to seen themselves at 1 dollar or just not being there. Hope to see you doing more of these
Top- Impact $1 Jungle- Blaber $5 Mid- Palafox $3 ADC- Doublelift $2 Supp- CoreJJ $3 Bot has long time synergy and both have played and performed with Impact. Blaber is blaber and palafox has been great lately. Top 3 definitively
Well zven stood up to regi and his tyrant ways and defended his team mates. I’m sure you saw screenshots. DL is on record berating multiple team mates. He got kicked off two teams after winning the split so yeah. Zven would probably put him in his place
Top: Summit JG: Blaber (5) Mid: Jensen (1) AD: DL (2) Sup: Core (3) Reuiniting the TL botlane of DL and Core, Blaber has experience playing alongside both Jensen and Summit, Jensen at $1 is a steal.
Top: Impact 1$ Jg: River 4$ Mid: JOJOGOD 5$ ADC: DL 2$ Supp: CoreJJ 3$ Total: 15$ For Worlds. The best roster would be, but over expending a tiny bit Impact River Jojo Berserker Vulcan That's a wold championship roster right there. Jojo+River would be INSANE DUO, Berserker+Vulcan is another nasty duo and Impact is up there playing weakside, holding himself while Mid Duo + Bot Duo destroy everyone
I was surprised no one pick Huhi. Was proud to have him on my team until I remember River and Huhi are GG so I can't have both. :( Keeping River meant I need to pick a different support so I went with Core. At that point, it felt trolling to pick Palafox over Jojo when I had enough for Jojo. Which gave me the same team DL, Spica and Revenge picked.
Impact River Jojo is BIS for topside but I think you can slot in a lot of different players for bot lane. WildTurtle and Ignar for example have played together before as well as DL and Core. idk if you'd run Tactical and Zven together though feel like that would be a gamble. but it would be hilarious too IMO
Bro spica lmfao, "oh so we're doin the LEC stuff?" Travis gafford with the most heart broken "what?" I have ever heard lol "Er I mean new original idea"
I wish this video was formatted differently. Go by role, or player, or price point, or literally anything except just shooting around to different clips arbitrarily. I’d also love to see some stats at the end. Which players were bought the most, all the finalized rosters, etc. Still enjoyed the video for the game itself though.
you can take 2019 liquid roster with jensen, core, DL & Impact, maaaan i would love to watch them play together again :(, and it is so cheap you can go with blaber or river as jungler easy
okay so I have 2 teams that I'd choose from Impact Blaber Jenson DL CoreJJ Practically 2019 but with blaber except Xmithe Second possible team is Impact Blaber Jojo DL Ignar Imo that's a winning roster
Ssumday $2, Vulcan $1, Berserker $5, River $4, Jensen $1. Or actually Summit $4, River $4, Jensen $1, Berserker $5, Vulcan $1. Berserker is the only Adc that can win vs LCK LPL. River/Blaber is a lock like Berserker. Jojo would seem like a lock but maybe not. Then I'd spend the rest on Summit, cause who else from top/sup is going to make the biggest difference.
No one picking Berserker is so troll. He skill-checks and rolled the entire league into a blunt. Impact Spica Jensen Berserker Vulcan would smoke any other non-Berserker combinations Edit: okay Fudge and Rich picked him, but I think he is the clear 5 dollar choice. Same team rules aside I think any combination with Berserker beats every other combination with the other adcs
Fantasy LCS is a terrible way to rank players lol. A fast efficient macro win gets less points than a long bloody mess of throws because fantasy favors action.
@@bm8350 yeah I said "something like" because IDK the best way to rank them, but having some way to compare, even if objectively wrong, is still fun. Kinda like how Travis ranked the players by current team standing, even tho it dramatically undervalued Impact etc.
Damn, can't take both Jensen and Santorin, so I guess I'll go TL Substitute Grig/Armao (Also had Jensen at 2, but he's actually 1, so still $5 for boba)
@HigherKaiju Impact is the toplaner. He is the weakside king. This roster actually makes sense on paper. Jojo dominates lanes early so River can early focus botlane. Once DL has a lead that allows River and Core to roam mid and snowball Jojo. Impact go brr. This would easily be a top 2 contender with C9.
