Haha after driving through Japan roads for 4 years not many people mention the narrow roads through residential areas and I 100% agree they're so tight space I'd be scared to get scratches and curb rashes.

Heh, yeah, the size of those makes me not-think Civic. But as a decent-sized wagon substitute, could be OK over here. Or for those long highway trips over there if you bring a few friends a lot. (And, yeah, the next generation of kids is just a lot bigger, and a lot of people my own age may be a lot wider, so cars keep getting bigger than I think they need to be. For my Americaning a wagon can be a good compromise (I've got an old Volvo 940 that I try to make handle really well for a working vehicle I haven't lowered, cause practicality, ) but I could easily see just splitting between a GR Yaris and a truck, since often I need full-on truck anyway. City life in Japan would probably differ greatly, though. :)

Honda fan since 1991 and my first was the EE9. But the look of the new ones is awful imo. Techncally very good, but looking like family cars with a spoiler. I want my coupes back...
