doesn't everybody produces different kinds of pheromone? I thought that it functions as to attract mates that are genetically different than you, so how can they use one type of pheromone for every person on this video? Also, from what I gather, numerous studies mention that we have yet to find the exact "human pheromones". To me, it seems like those bottles they use are just marketing scams.

I think something people don’t know is that when you wear too much, and depending on the concentration, it can cause people to have a fight or flight response or generally just makes you stressful to be around. A little goes a long way!

Step 1: Be attractive

Do this same experiment but have person A without pheromones talk with person B, then measure person Bs brain activity levels/stimulation to see if it's within the region that people perceive attraction/attractiveness. Then repeat with person A wearing pheromones. It would be interesting too see if person B's brain activity lights up more when they're wearing the pheromones. That would be a much better experiment than observations like, 'he smiled at me more'. And look a lot cooler with colored neuroimages

We are humans, beings who naturally supress their animalistic desires everyday. The Pheromone is somewhat of a boost, a carnal attraction estimulator. Dani's case went a bit meh due to the fact she kept on asking if it worked, which made her husband alert on the effects, thus making his body alert, making the effects work weaker than their intent. If the other sex doesn't see you as a potential mate, no amount of Pheromone is going to get you lucky on bed. Humans work on a balance of logic and chemicals, meaning that while the pheromones may have worked, but if you don't present another appeal besides sex, no such luck BUDDY!

These do work... for people you're already dating lol. I've used phermone perfume in 3 different relationships and each time I wore it my partner at the time was more aggressive/lovey. I would always laugh when they'd be all over it and tell them that it was because I wore that lol

I purchased a pheromone parfume in 2019, I don't know if that worked BUT.. I went to a concert and I was going to buy drink but in the end I didn't buy it cuz of payment method (I have to download an app but I refused). However, a couple of minutes later, a woman gave me a chocolate drink she said, "Hey it's from my boss (shop owner), you can have it for free. You just need to take a picture and post it on your instastory" I don't know if that because of the parfume but that day my outfit was bomb, tbh I felt like a celebrity lol. In other day, I wanted to go to the airport but I missed the MRT, I was very tired and sorry but one of the workers there let me take the next MRT WITHOUT BUYING A NEW TICKET. That was crazy, I was very happy and at that time I was wearing the perfume but again, maybe because it was late and he felt sorry for me✌🏼😂 some men in the station would look and smile at me. And OH anyway, I went to the airport to gave a present for Crush (rnb artist from Korea). He noticed me, and I really got the chance to gave the present directly to his car, but yeah no one there and his manager kindly rolled down the window for me. Another things I know about pheromones is, it'd work when it blended with your natural sweat, I mean it works well when you put it on your "warm" spot and it'd give different effect on every person. The seller said that it can boost your mood and confident, so maybe people attracted to you cuz of your confident😉

So I always thought pheromones weren’t exactly the same thing as smell. Pheromones in animals influence how they act and are kind of like hormones outside the body. I think that if human pheromones were a thing, you wouldn’t actually smell them as “good”, they would just alter your hormones. Kind of like chemical mind control, but really subtle. Part of the reason that I think this is that in humans, smell is really only evolutionary useful in determining if something is edible. In animals that use pheromones, their smell is more powerful and has more uses. I’m a senior undergrad biology major if anyone was wondering.

I agree with the conclusion of the video-your personality and confidence makes you attractive. However, superficial things do play into it-how you dress, makeup, cologne Etc. If the pheromones simply give you a placebo effect then they can make you more confident and therefore help.

Each person with the scent will smell differently. Honestly like how each persons body odor smells differently. It’s not directly like a sex attraction thing , that is completely false. It takes your personality to do that too, we after all are people not just animals.

First things first: pheromones aren’t essential oils. These are synthetic versions of animal musk produced by our glands, like androstenone (axillary steroids mimicking armpit glands) or copulins (aliphatic acids produced in the vaginal walls). So basically this stuff is picked up in our sweat, urine, other bodily fluids and occasionally saliva. There are essential oils that mimic pheromones such as sandalwood, jasmine and ylang ylang but I think these were straight up pheromones. Secondly, body chemistry matters. Pheromones like Androstenone is a potent and aggressive sexual pheromone which can give off an aggressive or alpha vibe. Then there’s Androstanone which is a milder version without the aggressive qualities. There’s like five more that I know of, but each to their own purpose of balancing out each other depending on the effect you’re trying to give off. And then finally, I don’t think either of them used a cover scent. Unless these blends came mixed with a cover scent to enhance the qualities of the pheromones, I can see why this experiment was a flop. We as humans have lost the ability to perceive whether we use a receptor in our nose called the vomeronasal organ. Animals use this to pick up pheromones, but we somehow forgot? But our sense of smell can detect other pleasant scents, which is why utilizing your favorite perfume, cologne or essential oil over the pheromones enhances the qualities of it. I feel like they were just thrown into this willy nilly without any direction as to how to really do this properly.

Pheromones don’t work on human beings, it’s all a placebo. But the part of the olfactory area of the brain that recognizes pheromones isn’t in humans. We don’t have a pheromone area, only animals do.

Chemically, naturally produced pheromones aren't like oil or sweat because they're not a liquid, it would be an non visible gas that is produced and released through the skin.. But I guess the one you can buy is just the chemical trapped within the oil bilayer? Wouldn't it wear off quickly? Evaporate into the air too far away from the person you're trying to attract?
