Who wouldn't like that? Alas I'm not a "professional" lunatic (just a normal run of the mill lunatic) Isn't professional lunatic an oxymoron anyway. My spokes are absolutely fine by the way and the wheel is extremely true. I'm just using twice reused tires that have both old sealant and tubes in them and been stored non folded and no amount of washing liquid water and pressure made them seat evenly (didn't expect to have to re use them but supply issues and me being broke af made me think again to keep them and then summer came and we actually got some sun for once) It's nice so many random people I've never met care about my boring arse though (Hello medical professionals, I know I'm your worst nightmare lol). Thanks guys :)
Hey Rich, that was an incredible effort! Well done pal! Listen, I want to purchase that same POC CORON AIR full face helmet from your channel sponsor, but correct sizing is tricky with full face helmets. Could you tell me your head circumference and the helmet size you wear for the POC CORON AIR? Thanks buddy!
I’d love to race the EWS but think I need to start a little smaller. This series has inspired me to get back into training to enter the Welsh Enduro Series in 2023 training has started all thanks to Riches efforts. 👍🏻👊🏻💥
@@richardpayne5176 thanks Bro, you made it look like an epic adventure from start to finish. I’m starting to find things out about my endurance I forgot I could do and how hard I can push myself. #mtbinspiration
I really enjoyed this series. Being a man approximately Rich's age, it really shows you what it would take to compete at a high level at all. His enthusiasm during the series was very good, even though I know it was very difficult at times.
Brilliant - loved this. Well done Rich - absolutely super insight into how it really is to race EWS. Thanks for the huge effort and making a great show
As someone lacking the adrenaline gene who just likes twisty rides through the woods, it all looks absolutely mental to me. Kudos to you Rich, and the rest of the athletes pushing yourselves to be the very best at getting through that stuff quickly, your dedication is incredible and the rewards well earned.
Love you, Rich. What a great series. Noticed you were wearing Dainese's MX protection rather than bike protection. Would love to see a comparison between the two and why you would choose one over the other.
Lucky buggers flying business class… I know I know, you’re working. I’m not hating, just saying I’m jealous, in a good and positive way. Enjoy boys 📈🕴🧳👨✈️🛫🌎🛌🍾🥘 👍
Congratulations Rich!✌👏 outstanding performance . You're good! Way to go bro but... you still need a shave my man. That caveman look doesn't do you any good
Rich this series was some of the best content I’ve watched on GMBN! I loved how transparent you were about everything including the nerves and the lead up. Congrats! What a result.
Great job young man! I don't know if there is a classification for my age group other than - Not Quite Dead Yet, so the senior category is still puppy stage. Proves that you're still in great shape. Now all you need is a sponsor with deep pockets.
On that whole weight shaving bit, an Australian Enduro channel (motorcycles) said "if you're obsessed with shaving grams off your bike, get on a treadmil and try to fit into a smaller pant size" ... If for some reason you're not able to physically talk to the staff/trainers at your local gym for exercises and tips to help lean out. Every gram/pound/stone you shed is less weight you have to carry around on the bike 😊😁
Whatever those GoPro settings are at, it looks like your a lazy bear making your way slowly down the trail. Then it cuts to 3rd person and you’re ripping! Then back to the odd slow bear.
I love watching GMBN’s videos… just wondering are you guys wearing pads? Maybe they are so thin I can’t see them. If not I wish I was confident enough to do that.
is the distance on the computer the actual distance on the ground or is that projected onto the map? the difference with those steep hills must be pretty big
As someone who doesn't live in the mountains they are just a totally different beast. I can't imagine riding so much elevation. I'd die. Great job rich!
Seriously impressive work fella, i can only imagine that whistler is a really tough round to return to racing as well. a few more races and I think there's a masters podium in you? In fact I recently saw Matt Jones and Deaks do a race in Wales, and it would be really interesting if the whole GMBN team would enter something like this against the RU-vidrs to see how you all faired as most use to race? Maybe GMBN could sponsor a race and invite your friends. My money is on Rach Atherton to take the top step. End of season race like HardLine but HardEnduro?
congrats payne,i would like to ask about the timing chip, two timing sportident chip each rider,is it have a different purposes?or just for a backup?thank’s gmbn and cheers from indonesia
