Insane! I would have never thought of using reese’s peanut butter cups in a savory form! I have always used this as topping for cheesecake or a banana cream pie to make it extra good!
I’m sorry but her reaction was SO underrated. She legit turned a CANDY into SPICY CURRY! If I were in her shoes my bead would’ve EXPLODED at how creative and fancy this is! Rie is a QUEEN!
Disagreed. I’m very disappointed in this dish. Cuz it doesn’t feel like a make it fancy anymore. She didn’t make the candy fancy. She used it and hid the flavour in a very different dish. The challenge is normally to make the dessert being the main this in the dish. And i feel like i lost the entire candy.
The guy who invented peanut butter was George Washington Carver. He was an agricultural scientist. He found tons of uses for peanut. He believed diversifying crops would help small farmers feed themselves and their families. Correction: as someone who replied below noted, it's actually a popular myth that George Washington Carver invented peanut butter. Please read the replier below, as they have the info from the National Peanut Board.
That weird I though he did too..cause he told them to plant them cause their soil was so deprived from cotton. Then they didn't know what to do with them. So he made a bunch of things (even paper from skins) to make a market for them.
Although Georges Washington Carver did published a book on peanuts including peanuts butter, that was in 1916, the first experimentation on peanuts butter date from the XIXth century, there's three inventors to peanut butter according to the National Peanut Boad, Marcellus Gilmore Edson from Montreal pattented a method to produce it from heated peanuts, John harvey Kellog pattented one from raw peanuts, and Ambrose Straub patented a peanut-butter machine. Although, it have to be noted that, way before those three men, Incas and Aztecs have made peanut pastes, and a dish named "peanut-cheese" which was something like a hard peanut-butter was found in Suriname (the dutch part of Amazonia). So the first to do peanut butter were unknown native american, the once credited just found ways to doit industrially ^^
Same, such a shame Kelsey left buzzfeed but I understand why she left I seriously hope Rie makes fancy fried chicken for Keith from The Try Guys that would be incredible to see!!! Also peanuts and shrimp do go together a lot of Asian dishes add them in the same dish
