Salem is, without question, the best character on the show. And his scene with Harvey is great. The two of them talking about movies, while trying to be macho, but also being so sensitive for Lola is one of my favorite in the series.
@@darkkey19 Melissa Joan Hart has said she's against reviving the show because she feels the ending was perfect as it was, with Sabrina and Harvey riding off on his motorcycle after she left the wedding. And I have to agree. So many times we've seen show revivals that just didn't live up to expectations at all -- Girl Meets World, That 90s Show, etc. And Harvey's actor left acting altogether to pursue an acting career, last I heard. So this one is better left to the Fanfic Realm, I think :)
@@darkkey19From what I heard, they would have made a season 8 or new spinoff series that centered on Sabrina and Harvey moving into a new house that Aunt Irma gave them after presiding over their wedding. (Little do the newlyweds know that the house is actually a haunted house where a lot of annoying supernatural hijinks take place…)
Sabrina did manage to solve the family secret in the third series finale but only with a help with Salem and I don't know if Hilda and Zelda will found that out.
He's right though, especially if we are talking about the original Terminator from the first movie; that model couldn't even withstand the pressure from a hydraulic press, which Robocop's grip has the strength of all on its own. Robocop could just crush Terminator's metal skull like Shaq palming a basketball.
even after Harvey learned about Sabrina being a witch and Salem being a familiar that used to be a wizard, the two still had a friendly men's relationship
in this episode, Sabrina and her aunts go to the beach, but Sabrina can't enjoy it till she solves the family secret (she does learn that Hawaiin Goddess of Volcanoes, Pele, is a Spellman cousin that has trouble controlling her pyrotechnic tendencies) Harvey was called to watch over Salem and Lola (a pregnant cat that Salem had declared to be his girlfriend, though he denies having any thing to do with her pregnancy) things become complicated when Harvey's pregnant mother comes and Sabrina's spell goes awry again, causing Lola's kittens to be transferred into Harvey's mom's pregnant belly, while Harvey's younger sibling is transferred into Lola's pregnant belly, Sabrina was able to fix this mess and both mothers successfully gave birth Lola had a litter of kittens and Harvey now had a little sister named Una who enjoyed hearing meowing, prompting Harvey to adopt Lola and her kittens
Wouldn't a Dr. Doolittle spell let Harvey talk to Lola, too. I mean, he could technically he could talk to Salem with no spell. Or a forget about it spell.
@@sweeney60 Salem talks to Harvey after he finds out about Sabrina. he also talked to Harvey and Val on Friday the 13th, but special Friday the 13th rules probably applied anyway. Funny, how there only seemed to be that one Friday the 13th Sabrina's entire lifespan over the series.
@@sweeney60Mortals can hear Salem just fine. The Halloween party, the vet, the retirement home. I think the spell was just so he wouldn't find a talking cat weird...? I dunno.
@@MrsCKane You realize I'm referencing a scene from when Sabrina was first trying to figure out the spell board, right? That quote is from Salem. And even if I weren't, that's no excuse to randomly call somebody dense out of a desire to feel smug.
@@parkerhynson3581 actually I did realize that. The line wasn't funny in the show when it originally aired and it is still not funny decades later. It's one of the few jokes the show made where even Salem delivering it couldn't make it funny. Also I wasn't trying to feel or act smug about anything, just really tired of seeing this lame line tossed about all the time when ever this clip comes up. It's tiresome. Really not funny. Sorry if I offended you, I probably could have worded my comment better. My apologies for the "dense" remark.
"Studying the magic book? Who are you and what have you done with Sabrina?" "She mostly wants to be left alone." "An excellent quality in a pregnant thing." Harvey's mom wanted to get into Lola's nesting box? And couldn't see the problem? Good grief. This is the episode where the family secret is solved, although Sabrina took longer than she should have to solve it, and it opens up some questions and plot holes for later.
I can't wait for the next series of clips after the family secret is revealed so that all of the people who never watched the show and are too stupid to know how to will finally shut up about asking what it is and how the board works.
I think because Sabrina cast a spell for Lolas discomfort it went to the nearest pregnant person which is Harveys mom so maybe she wanted to get in the box because she transferred the kittens to mom.
Either getting pregnant with cats bc of Sabrina's spell made her behave like a cat, or Harvey's mom's pregnancy was making her act more irrational than the average pregnant women would. That or Harvey's mom is naturally kooky.
every member of the Spellman family has a twin, that was their family secret the twins are split up at birth and raised in different but identical looking households, and once they awaken their powers as witches or wizars and get their learner's permit to practice witchcraft or wizardry, they are expected to solve this family secret, and once they solve it, they get to meet their twin in person then the twins are judged to determine who is good and who is evil, the evil twin is sent to a penitentiary for the rest of their lives
