Friends, it's good to be back working on the roundhouse 💪 If you want to get a TSH shirt or hat by Christmas make sure you order today! cottonbureau.com/people/tiny-shiny-home
The footprint of your house seems small until you see someone walking in it from the perspective of the drone. I can't wait to watch this come together. I love watching your channel!
Hey guys. Being a quilter, I use a door peep, (the old fashioned way of seeing who’s knocking on your front door), to view my quilting designs when I lay them out on the floor. Eg, 100 6 inch squares in assorted colours (Australian spelling), I can see immediately if the different colours/patterns are spread out evenly. Also if colour combinations are compatible. Anyway….when you mentioned you had to step right back to view the curve, I’m wondering if you kept a door peep in your pocket , it helps you see things further away, but you’re up close. Ohhh, I hope this makes sense.
A door peep with a fish eye lens. You can also get fisheye lenses to clip onto your phone. Some phones have them built in so you can look through the fisheye in your camera app. It'll usually be listed as .6 1 is normal and then 2 and up is zoom
Can I say your editing of theses videos is beyond amazing!?!? Thank you all for the creative, informative and most of all hard work you do! It does not go unnoticed ❤
Wow you guys! This is momentous! I’ve been a subscriber since you were shopping for this land and to be here to see the HOUSE foundation go in is just incredible 🎉 way to go, guys!😃
What got forgotten? Hayden is helping with the home build too! Yes, that's funny that the line Jonathan was so careful about putting down got covered. Nice, you've got some people to help you! Cloud found his shady spot. Then he had to come out to be with everyone. Nice, you finished the circle for the hallway. So you really just learned a better way to deal with the bag going to the outside. I'm glad you were able to fix both of the ends. I think it is a good idea to dude proof the vapor barrier! Good idea Ashley! Wow, 80 feet of wall! Congratulations! Wow, now 125 feet in a day? Double Congratulations! Thanks for this video Longneckers!
Guys, so happy that you finally got to do the foundation of the house. Definitely hard work with those long walls. Well done and keep it up. Love and be safe!🤗😘🎄🇻🇪
Yay! Lookin' good! I loved all the videos about the superadobe build and now look at you! only a million more feet of bags, Stucco, wiring, plumbing, inside walls, appliances, and the like and HOME! Congrats you all. It was good to meet Hayden and I signed up for the superadobe vids on his website. Have a holly jolly!
Lookin' good! Those red bags really pop contrasted with the native soil. So cool to see Hayden, and the mini-workshop. But good to see all of you working as a family, too. Those are really long walls, but you are off to a great start!
Love this! Teacher comes from Australia to teach super adobe and the students got an excellent education! Now students become the teachers and Hayden gets to be hands on student of hyper adobe with excellent teachers. Looks so similar and pretty interesting to see they are so very different. Love my Tiny Shiny … great big welcome to the family Hayden! ❤ Like Johnathan you got us saying “it’s a little fiddlely” and we LOVE you for IT!
I’m really excited for you! This is a huge step! Plus a video schedule! Nice! It’s so weird, it seems like forever since you worked on the house. 200 feet in 2 days. You must be exhausted, but I bet you were really ready to see house progress! Super impressive! Go team Longnecker! Thanks for sharing! Love from Oregon! ♥️ Jessica
25:35 EEK!! I saw the sneak peek of the plastered super adobe building!! 🙌🏻✨❤️ Also, I’m loving the drone shots of your house walls, so awesome guys!! ❤😊
Yeah! So glad for all of you to be starting on your home! It was nice to watch your workshop for those that are planning on building one! For me I love seeing you working on your new house. How long are you going to have Haden helping?
I'M so proud and happy for you guys. Wouldn't be nice if Hayden stayed for a while longer to help you. I know he has his own stuff to do, But I enjoyed him with you guys. So excited for you new schedule. Love watching the kids (and Doods) helping so much. Hugs Framily.
Those Cotton Bureau shirts *are* so comfortable! The T-shirts are soft and they keep their shape. And the hoodies are thick and roomy and the hood is generously sized, as are the pockets. :) verified purchase
What a huge effort you and your family have put in. I can’t wait for you to have your forever home finished. As they say good things come to those who wait 💙💜💛🧡❤💚
wow this great having Haden there help. you have your first guest in the superadobe. he's got a private place when and hopefully does another workshop with you
A very impressive family. I have grown kids now with families of their own and know the difficulty of motivating them to continual hard physical labor. I would love to see short clips of work rebellion on the homestead that must occur on occasion. They are part of normal family life. Maybe short discussions with your kids about their struggles with the hard isolated work.
I keep meaning to tell you that your intro song has a real Stoned Soul Picnic (5th Dimension) kind of vibe… very cool. It’s so exciting to see the house outlined in red!!! Onward!
Yahoo a great accomplishment on the house foundation. 🎉 The kids and you did an amazing job. You all deserve a special treat. How can I help with getting you a new cement mixer and/or a wheelbarrow? ✌🏻❤️🙏🏻
That may have been a mistake, but it sure shows how much of a fortress your house will be! TSH, you guys rock-starred the 125’ wall, 😅, I had to watch this twice.
Random freak out moment...watching you walk in the hallway and envisioning carrying furniture through it. It is likely much bigger than I realize. I hope.
I'm just going to gush for a minute. You guys are amazing! I learn so much watching you. I'm getting all ready to aquire land and start my own building projects. Your content helps me see the possibilities. I appreciate that you don't try to sugar coat the intensity of the work, but you do clearly enjoy it! Your artistry and attention to detail and beauty are inspiring. Your buildings are all gorgeous. So is your camera work. I love watching the beautiful artistic creative camera angles and nature shots. Who does all that lovely B roll? Do you all take turns or is there one particular camera genius among you?
Great video guys. The start of an awesome project. I also loved watching the superadobe dome home. Gread videos and fun to watch. We are all with you on this wonderful journey....Thank you so much!!!
Most pleased with the vapor barrier, hoping to see a vapor barrier over gravel over the entire floor area before the floor you walk on. Also that this gravel area is vented to clear the radon gas to the outside of the home to prevent one of the causes of lung cancer. Many, many older homes do not have this, but I think it is part of new construction .
Hmm-- I'm glad your on the move!! great progress-However I'm guessing in that month after the super adobe dome construction that you got the dome stuccoed and a door put on? At least that's what I thought I was looking at in the video? at around the 13:20 & 18:24 mark seems folks in the back ground were working on the stucco--???
Now I just need Y'all to come give us a hand lol. This has been amazing to watch y'all are awesome. We've just started on our 3 acers in Adamana az. Your very inspiring. But there are only the two of us, so we're still figuring everything out.
@@waywardescapes4384 We're in Apache County, as far as I know yes, I've been researching this area for about a year now, and pretty much anything goes, but some permits my be required.
Wow!!! You guys work like trojans. You got it done!!!! I'm excited about having videos on MWF, as the other channels I follow do not post on either M or W. Yay!!!!
Things are looking soo good!!! Have yall ever watched “My little homestead? “. They have built Hyperadobe bag buildings every shape and size with all kinds of materials for going 11 years now. They are very very successful homestead
So good to see yall back on task...lol...covering up the lines you just marked...teehee...get that on the big jobs sometimes. Merry Xmas and happy holidays from the great southern land.
on that chain compas. Could one put different color zip ties at key measurement points to ensure consistancy (and ease of changing). such that each color, or combination of two colors = a given used measurement?
Awesome job can’t wait to see all the progress I’m so happy for you all it’s been a long journey to get to this and it’s finally coming together for you all. You’re dream home how amazing congratulations I’m just so happy for you all 😊
Progress!!! It's awesome to see the builds and the teamwork of what will be a beautiful and comfortable home. My best to you and yours! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I have been sitting through episode after episode thinking about how impressed I am with how long the mixers keep going, and now you tell me that one is on its last legs LOL.... I guess things have to wear out at some time sigh!... Oh well it put in its time and did a great job while it lasted.... I hope that they say the same thing about me when my time comes...LMAO
