1&2 are an almost every day problem for me. Actually had a few days of peace and quiet this week, and had 3 lucid dreams in 2 days (waking up from one and falling back into it counts as 2 right? lol). That's never happened before, quite proud of it.

Astral projection is getting more famous every second but isnt it just lucid dreaming but with you being lucid but not aware that you are dreaming? Could you maybe talk about it?

Yeah pretty much exactly that. There are several videos on that topic in the membership area, but public videos confuse the algorithm and make it think it's a new age channel rather than one that focuses on the reality of the dreaming mind. RU-vid is quite frustrating

Yeah, sleep is vital. The mind is complex and it reflects on the complexity of the brain. Just saw electron microscope images of one cubic millimetre of brain matter-oh my God! The myriad connections between an untold number of nerve cells is mind-boggling! Yes, lucid dreaming takes preparation, too. I love the party analogy! 😄👌🏻

For the party analogy it makes me think of balancing play with intuitive rational understanding. I think this a very important for lucid dreaming. Keep up the good work! the world needs your wisdom on this subject.

Thanks. Im on a hiatus from lucid dreaming now for maybe 2 months. I was going at it hard for a few months before. I had a handful of lucid dreams which were wonderful, but felt exhausted mentally from trying too hard. I am slowly starting to get back into it, but completely relaxed and effortlessly. Letting everything ebb and flow, as it should. The whole process has allowed me to realize the importance of my dreams in general, and now I pay more attention to them, like a reflection of my underlying subconscious.

I've found success lucid dreaming with less effort. I think the initial obsession can be healthy but then we should ease our way into it and let it come naturally.

I actually have several of these problems right now. I am actively trying to improve my sleep, stress levels, and diet. It will be a journey none the less, but it will be worth it. Also unelated info, hope you dont mind this Daniel, but me, Steve, and Norris are all going on blind dates. Wish us luck!

I think numbers 3 and 5 are holding me back currently. With the dream goal I have in mind, I've been very excited to have a lucid dream so I have the chance to do it. With that excitement, I've been placing a lot of pressure on myself to have one, waking up frustrated or disappointed after every night. Granted, I know that I could be doing more to try and achieve a lucid, but placing so much pressure on myself certainly isn't helping. My diet is also not that good. I always skip breakfast and tend to have very small lunches, waiting until dinner to actually eat something. With that (and not even mentioning that I stick to the same 5-10 foods), it doesn't help with my mental diet either, often causing me to have very quick mood swings or become very sad and tired easily. All of that combined - yea, my diet probably isn’t helping my chances. Overall, very good video that I definitely need to view when I get to these lucidity droughts! It's very helpful to take a step back when lucid dreaming becomes frustrating and try and solve common issues.

You should also address your sleep hygiene 1 hour before bed. Avoiding tech, sugar, turning off wifi, etc.

2) Stress and Anxiety overuse of social media and constantly exposing yourself to things you have no control over… FXCK That’s me….. I have Cptsd and D.I.D. , also Autism. I am literally CONSTANTLY Stressed and Anxious and often to the point where one of the first things that happens when my ptsd is too triggered is frequent nightmares and stress inside my dreams.. And the internet definitely does NOT help at all actually it makes it significantly worse usually.. My dream journal this morning: Luise: -Frustration-Exhaustion -Online political drama -Caring what boring randos think -Feeling like we’re not doing Enough -Not knowing what to do-Overwhelmed

Another excellent video, especially for beginners. To add to your RU-vid algorithm, I might suggest that although it’s a good idea to limit social media, you have to be careful not to go to the other extreme and become a digital monk. Lucid dreaming is somewhat of a solitary practice and has the potential to develop into somewhat of an escape. .. it’s better to find ways to use it to integrate into your daily life. I personally agree with Daniel and I do limit social media exposure, but I discern my consumption and create the world and life I want to live in, with lucid dreaming at its center. Ok, ok… I know what you’re thinking… it’s time for me to climb back up on my mountain 😅😅😅😬

Year and a half into lucid dreaming practice and had twelfth lucid dream of the year last night. Unfortunately didn’t remember to go through preflight checklist or reflect on dream goals but did slowly dawn on me wait I’m dreaming I can’t be harmed here. Way behind on dream journal and need to catch it up.

For me, it's mainly the first one, and then when I do go to bed, I almost always instantly fall asleep when my head hits the pillow. Stress is probably also a factor. I tend to spend too much time online doing useless things.

I have been recording my dreams on my dream journal for like 10 days and there has been a lot of improvement lately i can remember what happened but they are not that vivid,however I think if i keep writing them down eventually they will feel like normal memories.

Daniel, what are your thoughts on supplements that are meant to relax users before bed? Could lucid dreamers use them or should they focus more on meditation and breathing exercises?

I tend to recommend avoiding any supplements - the natural approach is generally better. Plus, not being a medical professional, it would be improper for me to make any suggestions that could influence the health of others.

Some people are just born with mediumship abilities and can lucid dream without much effort. Quantum jumping is also possible for us but not something that happens at will. For me always randomly. It's a cool gift to have😊

One time I kept waking up over and over from a dream when I started picking up so on accident I had a lucid dream but not even 4 seconds into my dream I closed my eyes and I woke up again 😂

question: Most of my dreams are either cloudy, rainy, or night. I haven't had a sunny dream ( i have about one semi-sunny dream every couple of months) in one of my dreams, i was in my house there was sunshine coming through the window but once i got outside, the sky turned cloudy. what do you think the reason is?

This is a reasonably common issue, there's no firm answer to it unfortunately, but since the dawn of dream research people have noticed a difficulty for some to change light levels in the dreamscape. Personally I believe it's related to lucidity near the end of a REM phase. I've had incredibly bright "tropical beach" dreams, so there's certainly no limitation on having bright dreams. It's currently something of an unsolved mystery.

I might suggest to look at the symbolism of the dream as it relates to your life… any correlations? What season of your life are you going thru… any stormy or bleak periods currently on the horizon? Play with it and if there is a connection, there may be a clue, a ray of hope, 😉 on how you may be able to change it in your life in a way that may then get carried over into your dreams.

Thanks for the video's. Started three months ago with the Journey and did have 9 short lucid dreams. A couple of nights ago i was dreaming that i was flying with a friend and telling him i was trying to lucid dream more. This did not tricker me and Just remains a normal dream... So weird, how much hints do you want😂😂😂😂

Okay, but I have two problems I seemingly have no control over. 1 - my brain won't shut up so I can't sleep when I should 2 - I rarely even have dreams. But when I have a dream, if I am alone (and aware) I can take control of it

You can improve dream recall easily. 30-45 minutes before going to sleep try and re-imagine/re-experience the last vivid dream you do recall. Re-experience the emotions, dream narrative , plot, scenery, people. This can stimulate your dream recall.

What is the best time to wake up and do a WILD? For example, I go to sleep at 11 P.M. For when do I set an alarm to wake up and do a WILD?

Morning naps are by far the best time, as you target the longest period of REM. No need to disturb your usual sleep cycle. Only problem is for most people this is only possible at the weekend

That would be fine, but I wouldn't recommend doing it too often, else you'll simply reshape your sleep cycle

Hi Daniel! How are you? I have a question. This morning I woke up really early and was really sleepy, in the mood to fall asleep straight away hahah, while I was in that state I imagined my dream body doing a reality test, since I was very sleepy it felt real, as soon as I did it I felt body vibrate and started dreaming while lucid. It happened twice. I'm still new to lucid dreaming and all this situation feels unusual, do you think it was true or just some realistic dream? Thank you!

Hey Daniel, I wanted to know, if you registered your books on Amazon, or if someone else is reselling them. I'm like 90% sure that it's you, but I just wanted to be sure that you get the money you deserve. I've just read one other lucid dreaming book, but I'm not certain if it was written by AI or not. It aligned with a lot of information of yours, but not all.

Yes my publisher is in charge of book sales on Amazon and other outlets. As for other lucid dreaming books, anything written after 2020 and by unknown authors would be wise to avoid, as they are almost always AI generated rubbish

Sometimes less effort facilitates more lucid dreams. You have to find the balance between effort and letting go.

I've been putting work in lucid dreaming for a long time but I'm not really lucid dreaming because of the first reason. I don't know why but I have trouble going to bed on time and then I don't have enough sleep ☹️ I'm really trying to fix this but it is not that easy because I have trouble changing habits

Try changing your routine in the last hour before sleep. Avoid technology, and try mediating and repeating mantras. Avoid late night meals and night lights too

@@ParanormalDreamCoach94 well I've not been really trying techniques but I mostly do reality checks and keep my dream journal and I often analyse my dreams and look for some common things that are in my dreams, but I think that maybe I should try some techniques because it could help so I think I'm going to try!
