Retired judges should be barred from joining any political parties. This has started shaking the faith in Judicial System.

He is full of hatred. He has been misusing his powers. He was always insulting lawyers.

Opposition should raise such issues in parliament to ban judges from the higher judiciary or other high offices to join any political party leaving service or after retirement.

Rohit Arya was a performer for the cameras in his court sittings. He seldom used to stick to the judicial decorum during his court proceedings, even he used to put on the galaband court instead of the usual legal robs meant for the high court judge. He used to address the Advocates & litigants as "TUM" during his court proceedings, and he usually used to hold his courts proceedings in Hindi, wherein the language of the High Courts in India is English as per the rules. He used to give lectures to the Advocates & the litigants during his court proceedings. He used to think himself over & above the laws, which legally & Constitutionally is not the case. As a High Court judge, he was supposed to uphold the Law and work as per the existing rules & regulations. But he used to flaunt the rules & regulations according to his wimps & fancies, which was legally wrong and he was not authorised to do so, legally. He was not at all a quality & upright material for becoming a High Court judge. And now he has joined the Modi-fried Bjp, which too is known to do all illegal & unconstitutional work for their political & electoral gains, so as a person with a similar mindset he fits into their system perfectly. Rohit Arya was an unfit & an unsuitable stuff for becoming a High Court judge. Similarly, he is unfit & unsuitable to become a political person, because he is neither stickler to the laws nor he is ethical. Now, it is the high time, that by law, the Judges must be BARRRED from becoming a member of a political party once a person has been appointed and/or elevated to the bench as a judge.

" I don't want to join politics. I just want to be in the party to get political privileges. " That's the whole idea .

I never expected a person of your caliber to join politics. They may have invited you, but you shouldn't have joined.

If he thinks that he can work for the underprivileged by joining BJP, he is seriously mistaken as present BJP works only for the super rich.

All Judges to be totally banned from joining Politics or any constitunal key post . That has been done through a high Power Committee of Sitting Supreme Court Judges led by CJI Otherwise our 3 Tier system will be totally destroyed and India will become a Raj Tantar

There is urgent need to have DEFINED cool off period for judges to join political party or government otherwise there will always be suspicion on previous judgement and order delivered by retired judges. Caesar's wife must be above suspicion.

My personal view- There should be law in our country to restrict Judges, bureaucrats and Govt/ Semi- Govt officers from joining any political party for period of at least one year from the date of their retirment/ resignation/ dismissal, as the case may be. Also there should be a cooling period of at least six months for joining any Govt. / Private Company remunarated job after their retirement/ resignation from such posts . This would certainly avoid promoting biasness, inclination towards certain groups/political parties , appeasement and corruption to a large extent. Govt. should make such law accordingly in the interest of the mass for building a prosperous India.

He was very unprofessional Judge while in seat he often ran court like it was a fish market and often abuse Lawyers and litigants. He has multiple times broken constitutional values and we know his rakhi bail case. He is highly misogynist in his views also there was a women who was asking protection from her husband because of domestic abuse but the judge was hellbent in not listening to the litigant sometime same with male litigants as well he used to give idiotic judgements often litigants had to go to supreme court. All his Judgements should be sent under judicial review

what's wrong about retired judge joining the parties? They're retiring because they want or they reached the age of 65. As long as he is doing his job as a judge impartially then there's nothing wrong.

I was impressed by Justice Rohit Arya's courtroom. But now a few months after retirement him joining BJP is a big disappointment.
