Sometimes there are tools that are useful because they combine multiple functions into 1. Oftentimes, those tools do a bunch of things marginally. They’ll get you by in a pinch but it’s not the right tool for anything. This is one of those tools that delivers on doing 2 functions as it’s supposed to and this is why it’s found a way to be a part of my racing operation going forward. At the track, the single most common thing I do between rounds is get my tires aired up to get ready to race. Up until recently, I’ve had a red air tank to fill up and drag around, and I had to make sure that I filled it up at home before I left for the track. This AdoreTrip 2500A combination Inflator and jump pack is smaller, lighter, and still has more functionality than a big red air tank. I’ve also made sure that when I go racing I have a jump pack handy just in case I need it. The AdoreTrip performs the function of jump starting a car nicely and it does have its limitations. It started my El Camino and kept delivering power to keep it running just fine. It needed a bit more power to turn over a large forced induction engine that was in need of help. That’s also not a car that you see on the street everyday, so this will definitely jump just about every normal car and truck that you would come across.
I put this AdoreTrip 2500A to the test through the week as I constantly aired up and down my tires and kept an eye out for anyone that could need it. This is definitely going to stay with my racing stuff so that it can be used between rounds or when a car in the staging lanes needs a jump to get racing again.
