Can The Anniversary Special Save Doctor Who? 

For me it was a childhood classic, a series that i always reached for if i was ill or stuck inside on a rainy day, all the way to me now forcing myself to catch up on episodes through gritted teeth so i'm up to date for the 60th Anniversary. I feel at this time im watching out of loyalty not out of excitement or even curiosity. I believe it can rise from the ashes with big Dave.

I reckon the 3 parter will be good but I don’t have high hopes for the series moving forwards, maybe I’m too scarred from the Whitaker era but I actively wanted to plant my head through the tv watching series 12, I ended up just giving up, and honestly it’s not even directly Whitakers fault the writing and story was just so abysmal. Here’s hoping they can claw it back but I’m not setting my expectations too high 😂
