This is a story how I use my 20kW grid-tie Huawei solar inverter to save the day for my other hybrid 10kW hybrid solar inverter.
We are now living in a constant grid on/off mode when sometimes there is a grid, and sometimes there is none. And both those "sometimes" are about equal in size and in timing.
And here helps a magic wand, how Deye inverter amazingly works with its AC-coupling, via MicroInvervter Input mode of its GEN-port!
If anyone will ever ask me what is the BEST hybrid inverter for home (and not only for home) - that is Deye, or Sunsynk. Those beasts easily outperform anyone else in the variety of their possibilities and system enhancements.
For summer I don't care about power offs at all, given there are 3 electric water heaters in the house, electric cooker, electric oven, electric coffee machine, kettle, microwave, a couple of fridges, washing machine, water pump, and many other smaller things. Currently due to late frosts in May, the electric heating is still always on, and I don't care about the consumption, since I always overproduce power for myself even in times of grid outages.
For winter - it will be tougher, but I'll add a little bit of batteries, and also more wind turbines are getting installed, some of them very-very soon.
