i never owned a pc before so being able to play modded zombies is a dream come true for a big zombies fan

i really dont know how they have been able to make bo3 run so good but being able to play zombies on the go was a;ways a dream since i played bo1 zombies for the first time

I have a steam deck and I play cod mw in a windows dual boot and cod bo1 zombies on steam os... It works flawlessly, although I would love to just get rid of the dual boot and only use steam os just because al the other games run better on steam os.

Custom zombies on a handheld pc, sounds to good to be true‼️ Wish consoles had custom maps, my child hood would of been 10x better🔥

Been using my deck as my zombies machine for months. Anytime I have time to kill or bored, I load up some bo3 or world at war on it and can just have a blast with all the custom content for both games. The sleep mode on deck kicks ass for saving high round runs for later. Also I would HIGHLY recommend learning how to use gyro controls for this. I use gyro assisted aim and have it set up to only activate when I hold down the left trigger and act as a support to the regular right stick aiming. My controls are all set to controller binds but my right stick is set as the mouse. I'm finally able to consistently hit headshots and I don't have aim assist forced upon me in bo3 when using this set-up and world at war isn't too difficult anymore because I can land my headshots easily and survive verruckt runners in harder maps.🤘🏻🤘🏻

It works perfectly me and the boys have done EE's several times without telling them I was doing it on steam Deck 😂

About World at War's gamepad support, it does have Xbox/XInput support but you have to open the Developer Console with the tilde ` key (make sure it's enabled in Settings) and type in "exec default_controller" without quotation marks. Still need a mouse to navigate menus but the rest of the game controls great on Deck. It even allows you to use Keyboard & Mouse inputs simultaneously, so you can configure Steam Input to allow for Gyro aiming while still using the standard Xbox joystick which feels amazing.

Great freakin video! My god the Steam Deck is a goddamn beast.. I love this thing! Literally.. I'm running Watch Dogs 2. Dead Space Remake and Resident Evil 2 Remake. The games look amazing.. I also, made videos on why I love the Steam Deck especially in 2023.. The way it's going. consoles might be going obsolete very soon all because of these beastly handhelds.

I know there is a lot to getting games on steam deck but if they just let all games with ease on it truly be an amazing piece of hardware, now with that said I do have one I am learning I do enjoy it but it be amazing with just open it up, load a game and boom ! Happy Gaming Everyone!!

not CoD zombies but Killing floor 2 works great out of the box too and also you can access a ton of community maps and mods!

Once you use keyboard or a controller. World at war runs perfectly. Including console commands. Trying custom maps now that's how I came across this video.

I was planning on getting BO3 zombies on steam deck but wanted to know how's the performance regarding the base and custom maps in docked mode while playing couch co op.

Kinda wondering if this can run some of the higher quality custom maps like Atonement or Call of the Dead Remastered.

How you made it to play it so smooth? I run it with my deck and it runs at 50 and sometimes lowers to 40, playing in shi no numa and having everything set to medium

Great vid. I will add, Dual Booting is very easy and with a boot menu, pretty seamless. But Windows doesn't run have as flawless as steam on the deck.

Also you can’t play black ops 2 zombies without an internet connection even if it’s solo there’s only the online option

I wouldn't be surprised if warzone mobile came to Nintendo switch sometime during or after release, because warzone mobile currently has controller support when in game, but not for the menus outside of gameplay (settings, choosing the gamemode you want to play, gunsmith, etc) so possibly if they do decide to do that they'll add some kind of mouse pointer that you use to select options in the menus, or maybe they'll just force you to play in handheld mode and use the touchscreen, or maybe they'd implement both.

Anyone else having this problem in Black Ops 3 where you can't press the button on the switch board when trying to upgrade the lightning staff? Is it a button layout issue?? Or game issue? Because you can still pick up the tablet at gen 2 and that is the same way you don't need a prompt x button to interact

You didn’t cover this in your video so I understand if you haven’t tried it, but do you know if it’s possible to also play WaW custom zombies? That’s honestly the biggest thing for me.

I turn my resolution down to the next 16:10 ratio and activate FSR. With lowered settings, it looks decent with 60 fos or more.

I bought the 64 gb one I specifically want it for bo3 custom zombies and left 4 dead. Would that be enough storage for it? I do plan on upgrading the ssd but I need to figure out how to because I do not want to break anything or mess up anything inside of it.

I recently got my steam deck and am loving playing zombies and undisputed on it but some maps I want to play like Frigid don’t work, the screen turns green with lines and crashes, is there any way I can fix this? This isn’t only on this map but on others too.

You totally can, I use my deck for bo3 all the time. Just a bit of laggy menus but I get 60+ frames consistently just as long as your connected to a power source.

i set up dual booting with windows for genshin impact, but i found out black ops 2 with plutonium works flawlessly on windows. you can definitely play bo2 on the steam deck without any nonsense, just dual boot!!!

hello I know im late to the party but please do not do duel boot its not worth your grub bootloader breaking because a windows update came out that deleted the grub menu grub recovery is hell and not worth it as someone who has duel booted also steamos is arch based system which means rolling release and keep your steam deck up to date or steam os will get corrupted
