Looking good! I’ve been doing body work for close to 30 years now and I can tell you people don’t appreciate what it takes to do it until they do it themselves. You’re doing a good job taking it slow and learning as you go. My moms cousin has a 1949 power wagon that will be mine in the near future when he tires of it ..so I love watching your videos! Keep doing what you’re doing don’t rush it take your time and It will be all good. A few suggestions I would have is cover the glass because welding sparks well burn into the glass and test fit test fit test fit… keep up the great work!

Thank you! Yes it definitely is a lot harder and more work than I would have ever imagined but I can tell I am getting a little better each time. Lots to learn still! Good to know on the glass with the welding luckily I am replacing all of it anyways. Thanks for watching!

How much did rebuilding the engine cost with materials and labor?

I don’t remember exactly. I think only a couple thousand but it took forever

@@DIYSCOTT yes, this is why I asked. I had my 1963 Lincoln motor rebuilt and it took a year. They were in no hurry. That is my hesitation. I get a truck and someone ties me up like that. It was very frustrating when I went through that. I would do it all myself now. I learned that lesson. It is better to buy the tools or lease them and do it myself. Also, your welds turned out really nice. You did a solid job. I bought a welder. I have to do some work on my car. I ran out of time on my visit back to the states last time. When I get back I will complete it. Best of luck! Keep going!
