I moved my huge monstera from a west facing window with direct sun to my south facing living room. After 2 weeks the new growth hasn’t unfurled and started dying. It had just begun to make those tiny holes on the inside of the leaves too! 😭 I’m moving it back to it’s happy home where it can be showered with burning hot evening sunshine!🤞🏽

I like the look of the light, but too complicated for me. I prefer something mobile. For me it's easier to move the lights than the plants. The older I get the simpler I try to make things. Love your videos and have learned a lot from them!

I was worried that the low kelvin would not have enough spectrum to grow plants but my plants love this light. Mine is going strong after 5 years of 24/7 operation. The light is slightly warm and super bright like looking at dappled sunshine in a forest. Just GORGEOUS and my plants love it and put out so much growth.

I just use cheap 6500K LED warehouse lighting as grow lights and those have worked very well. Its around 30 LUX around most of my home without lights on and that is pretty dark to grow anything. The only issue I find when growing monstera's under lights is that they grow tall in no time and start touching the light and the larger leaves blocking out light from reaching below the plant.

Thanks so much for calling out the light temperature/spectrum! I see grow lights that are just red and green, and though that's great if you're growing some herbs in your closet, we all want our interior lighting to be as pleasant as it is functional. I've got a full spectrum bulb by my desk that doesn't feel clinical at all, improves the image quality of my zoom calls (ha!), and my monstera is much happier with it than it was before. Mine dropped it's fenestration so I'm hoping it'll come back now.
