I’m old enough to remember when the wings were considered almost like a waste item. You could get them for.10¢ a pound. Then the buffalo wing thing hit, and it’s one of the most expensive pieces of the chicken.

It's amazing how nearly every culture (at least those near the equator) utilize spices for flavorful food, health benefits, and happiness. I'd love to attend a cookout with people from all over the world, eating spicy food (even if I have poor spice tolerance!) bcs spicy food makes people happy!

In Buffalo we (I say we because I was bred, born and raised in Buffalo and still live here) we DO NOT call them "Buffalo" wings. They are just wings. Also they're not authentic wings unless they are served with blue cheese dressing and carrot and celery sticks. AND THEY ARE NEVER coated with bread crumbs or flour.

@@urbanurchin5930 They used Frank's Original RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce. I prefer the Tabasco Sauce brand. You can buy the Anchor Bar wing sauce ( hot, medium or mild) in the supermarket. At least around here. Or maybe online. Not sure about that.

I'm in Mexico City on vacation right now and I am in a quaint little cafe that serves Mexican chicken wings and cerveza and a new thing to me...alcoholic coffee. The coffee menu has alot of coffee flavors just like Starbucks. They taste fantastic! The basket came with 8 BBQ style wings, coated in Mexican mole sauce and Jalapeño strips on the skin. Hot and sweet at the same time. Delicious. 👍👍👍

After cooking wings are best if kept in a 250 degree oven for an additional 1 hour. This makes them fully cooked to the bone and much more tender. I only cook hot wings in the oven.

if you serve very spicy food, you should offer milk instead of water. it will soften the heat better, water will spread the heat more... even chocolate will help slow the heat.....

I make mine with one stick butter melted and one bottle Texas Pete hot sauce in a bowl. Cut chicken wings up and dry fry. When done, immediately toss in the bowl with the butter and sauce and shake until covered. Place a plate over the bowl and let sit for a minute. Ready to chomp down after that. 😂😂😂not real spicy but a bit hot on the lips but you have to keep eating

Thank you for saying that because I have been so confused lately as to what they are eating because they don't explain it like they used to. That little tiny name tag is too small and I miss it most of the time so I have to rewind it. It's very irritating if you ask me.
