Vj Sethypathi in a interview he said~ He met many young directors who struggles to give their debut and sits for many years with same script. He would act for those directors just to give them a name that director has debuted with Vj sethupathi so with that movie the director can approach forward in his carrier. It seems like a good act, but in same way it backfires when the movie doesnt workout.
VJS is literally like Vikram in recent years. Have the full potential of natural acting but not utilising fruitfully. Manikandan , Prem Kumar , Nithilan in lineup looking terrific

I think there is one thing that is both good and bad thing about Vijay Sethupathi. He doesnt give a damn to his stardom. This gives him a liberty to do experimental movies like Seethakathi, Super deluxe, Kadaisi Vivasyi, but it also makes him act in low budget bad movies. I am sure he will stay forever, maybe not as a main hero, but as supporting role and as antagonist. I also doubt that 2015 -17 run will happen again. I can wait for his next movie Viduthalai. He will get immense praise for that role

Karupan. The movie tremendous hit in rural, towns and suburbs. A movie connected to urban audiences does not make a hit. I don't like karupan. But I watched it twice in theatres with my colleagues. Each time the audience enjoyed the movie with the family. The profits are not only about theatres. The satellite and OTT's also included. Karupan was wholesome for the satellite audiences. Here I sharing my experience on karupan. It differs. But I wish to share.
I loved the observation in the video. But connection mentioned in the title did not come out well for me and was superficial. One can make that connection to lot of heroes who came out of the nutshell or got into alternate script picking process. Ajith is the finest who stands out for making movies for personal connection and probably ruined my love for him.
This is the @fully filmy that I watched during my early days. Appreciated the contents that you are doing these days. I will say he was able to balance the so-called "low budgeted" high content films such as Dharma thurai, Kanne Kalaimanae, Aandavan Kattalai and also high end budgeted movies like Master, vikram vedha. At that point I thought he finally discovers his balanced equation for his acting career. But as you mentioned he intentionally agrees to do so some of the films are just in sake for introducing a new director or to help a director friend financially recover and he openly agrees with those. He could do these if the screenplay is fine. But other than that if he continues to do this we may witness a fall of a risen star.
But still... Merry Christmas than ore protagonist ah pandra movie athuvum hindi la. Jawan villain. Farzi and Michael multistarrer. Viduthalai la extended cameo. Tamil la oru solo hero movie missing. More of an character artist ah maaritu vararo nu oru feel. Tamil la interesting filmmakers oda interesting scripts pananum. I agree with u completely. I'm also a vijay sethupathy fan waiting for him to come back to form. But some of the movies in the "other" list were still watchable and likable. Nalla naal I liked the concept of what they were trying to say, though it was a strange way to say it. Karuppan was ok, nothing spl but not bad. Junga is one movie I must say I really liked 😂 just for timepass.
Thuglaq Darbar sounded good as a story but it felt flat because of execution. I would like to remind you reg Vijay Sethupathi - with another fav interview of Madhavan with BR - why he did a movie called Silence with Anushka when he blatantly knew it would be boring. Please check that out. Moreover, it's their choice. They aren't forcing you to buy tickets and they deserve to make quick bucks. To the fan who wrote the letter, I wouldn't say a fan - it's obvious from the trailer that DSP wouldn't work out. He's to be blamed inspite of watching trailer and then wasting his money plus time - again his prerogative but should've known from the trailer itself.
Why everyone loved VJS mainly bcoz of the unique roles, story and the variety he showed in his early stage of his career. Someone misguided or what I don't know. But the upcoming movies are promising let's hope he do justice to his audience @FullyFilmy
More than the quality of the movie...He should focus on his physical fitness as well he is little obesse now, He must shed some weights and he must understand he is not an character artist rather than hero material. He must avert commercial films which probably doesn't suits him and people aren't willing to accept him as a commerical hero.

I disagree. Among all the vjs is unique for a reason. The qualities of actor being "standard" , "raising bar" is not a new concept that has been explored by Vijay , sk, rajini for the former and Kamal, Vikram for later. But vjs is the only unique actor with no ego and just does things only for learning And people. What does that do ? It allows him to act in a movie like pettai or omg or kadaisi vevasayi where his roles are explored and he just learns . He makes decision which no one will do, he submits to art despite ego , he explores role which doesn't add anything to his career but gives novelty to his style and keeps fans in toe. Personal opinion : I want vjs to be the same , it's ok if his 5 flim flops but for that 1 movie I will wait.because you know he can be a hero or villain or just comedian but you can trust him. We can't expect another human like this.
Why waste 5 bad movies for that 1 good movie? Waste of time for him. Instead of choosing 5 to get 1, he should just be clear and learn to choose that 1 good movie out of the 5 and act in it with dedication. Already neraiya per ku VJS movies naale mokka ya irukum nu oru mindset vandhuruchu. So, even when he gives that 1 good movie, audience may fail to recognise it.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was played by Chiranjeevi sir which justifies the movie's title and plot of the film revolves around him. I feel neengae Vijay Sethupathi sir eh protagonist ah pakkuradhu is not right cause his role is more of a supporting character. Enna poruthavaraikum, he did justice to the screen time offered to him in that movie.

Bro I'm from Delhi and I found some interesting points in which tamil cinema should improve: 1. A good production youtube channel required for making people understand that a movie trailer is released ex: t series, hombale, mythri, dharma etc even netflix 2. A good dubbing required, people should think that these films are our films and not regional films 3. Tamil cinema lacks in creative vfx, cgi, cinematography, amazing shots, colour grading. These thing attracts people to wonder how massive this shots are..... 4. A good promotion required. We don't even know that these movies are released, do a good promotion like kantara, kgf, rrr, baahubali etc 5. All Directors should take responsibility in making good film, creating franchise, a good storytelling that makes audience watch in their edge of seats 6. Heroes should make good upcoming lineups of movies Use their talent of versatile acting to impress audience 7. A toofan wale bgm and good songs pan indian songs 🎵 Many more points there please make a video of these points and add your opinion of points too.....
@@dharacomments not at all! it is not selva! Even though GVM and Surya movies were a hit! Surya came out of the movie "DHURUVA NATCHATHIRAM" It was first narrated to Surya! but he came out of that due to creative differences! Even though he had a personal connection with GVM he didn't do a script that didn't work for him! But vjs doing scripts for the directors who gave hits in his early stages even if the script is not that fascinating! (Junga(Gokul), Sindhubadh(Arun)) That's the analogy in this video!
