Kabam literally prices T2 primordial dust for 40$ usd that’s the most insane price I’ve seen for a fake imaginary video game resource in my life, I bought shadow of the erdtree for 40$ think about that I purchased a video game dlc for the same price as their dust crap, cmon Kabam are you really that greedy and sleazy? Literally some of the easiest rewards to get… no grind, no resources spent, just pop some crystals and get rewards 🤷🏻‍♂️. I agree some of the rewards are very underwhelming but don’t say they’re hard to get.

Saved crystals are resources. A lot of people bank iso by not opening crystals until needed for for iso. No reason to waste those by opening during this event. The rank rewards are awful and milestones are too difficult to reach imo. I opened my gold crystals which also took ages because there’s no open all.

Now if your thronebreaker/paragon/valiant and you’re hoarding premium crystals with the max reward of a 4*, pop the dang things cuz you ain’t banking that much iso from them and you ain’t losing anything by selling them. But no if you’re hoarding 6* shards and stuff save them nobody has an issue with that. But having 2k questing crystals, or gold crystals or arena boost crystals when you don’t ever play the arenas… not sure how long you’ve been playing but those things just collect dust in older accounts.

Short answer: Yes, we honestly could. Realistically speaking: No. Why? Because people are upset that the rewards aren’t good (for them). Yet this was a test.. They wanted to see how successful it could be, in turn looking at the hopes of changing things for a future cleansing and possibly making the rewards more beneficial. It’s not like they were expecting us to open some of our rarer crystals but what’s the point of having tens of thousands of random CC crystals, Shard Fragment crystals, and Daily/Free crystals? The list goes on and I’m not knocking anyone because I too can be a crystal hoarder. All they wanted was to see if people were actually going to help. I don’t think they’re going to criticize or persecute those who aren’t helping.

New players don't have the gold to ascend champions. They have to spend it all to level champs. The ascention materials will go into their overflow.

On September 21, when a new unit store suggestion appeared, money was taken from my card. The item wasn’t delivered, and the purchase wasn’t completed-only money was taken as if I had purchased Thronebreaker Daily. This has happened before, and I ended up making the purchase because of it. Money was taken without my consent, leading to unintended purchases. MCOC has made extra purchases without my consent multiple times. Even if a purchase was canceled, why do the purchases keep repeating? I didn’t provide my consent, Face ID, or password to make these purchases. This is not a subscription-money should not be taken in this manner!

I’ve opened 20,000 crystals. I get Kabam feels I’m getting benefit from the crystal rewards. But they stack up because they were worthless to me. And the rewards for this event are worthless too. This is like opening a max sig crystal just to get an sig stone. Worthless, waste of my time, and rude.

a lot of people dont go for featured 6 stars simply because top players are moving on to 7* or almost exclusively use 7*. so its just simply better to open basics so you get more 7* shards over time.

The rewards are terrible for what we can lose if we can't use all of our extra inventory of cats, ISO, boosts, etc. I don't want to lose 1000s of T5 ISO and other resources for a few 40% revives or a useless Profile pic. Kabam didn't think this through properly.

Progression based rewards = good, all the community can benefit and its totally worth using your resources to help others and also help yourself Same reward for everyone = valiant players getting t1 dust and 20% chance of a 7* OR uncollected players getting titan crystals, this shit simply dont work ! The realm milestones are cool but this fixed rewards dont work, progression based rewards keep the game balanced and fun so i really want to believe that kabam will learn from this mistake and do new realm rewards with better rewards of each progression title in the game.

I think the issue is rewards, so just an idea...remember when kabam did that exchange stuff for higher rating of same stuff; say trade 6 t1 alpha for half of t2 alpha. we can do something like that similar to that exchange quest crystals in black market. so, what this would do is get you rewards by clearing stash little and managing item space, plus people can open those lower tier catalyst crystals to trade. coz personally I had 8K tier 4 shards crystals, which is tough to get use out of when you have selector for low cost of chips or glory. so better rewards and for gods sake give everyone a n auto open button. I know it already exists in game data since my account has it.

Rich, if you can't get the whole community to open enough crystals to hit these targets with bogus rewards, PLEASE don't push this type of event for Battlegrounds. We're still sorting out this new placement system, and nobody likes losing repeatedly due to bad mismatches. And again, expecting veteran players to open more than their minimums for these bogus rewards was short-sighted.

I think the goal of this was to have some offload on the servers by cleaning up the servers from all the hoarded entitities (crystals) for the end of the year mumbo jumbo. Now I have no idea as to how must strain these cause to the servers, it is just a guess. No other reason as to why'd they do these trade in events every once in awhile.

I'm already at 1800, and I didn't even have any crystals when the event arrived. I will probably be at 3000 when the event ends. I don't understand why people can't or don't open crystals. I see no reason to save any crystals to open later except for champion crystals.

People want top tier rewards for doing minimal work. Or at least things that make it more reasonable like rank up mats, units, guaranteed things. I understand the idea of it but the community is not as on board. The reason why the death count thing for Neco worked is dying in difficult content is simple enough and the rewards were outstanding. So you had content everyone was trying to beat anyway and amazing rewards and in this case people just don't care about it.

I can’t honestly talk about why other people aren’t opening featured six star crystals but I had over 300,000 shards and I only opened a little more than half because the Champions in it just aren’t as good. There are more OP champs in the basic now compared to the new one and no Enchantress or Count

No one is going to open up crystals you need for later. I.e. shard crystals when you need iso for later rank ups, it’s a total waste. You need it the iso for when you have the rank up materials, and you can sell the iso then if you need gold at a certain time.

Screwing up Raid week cost us how many crystals from those who just play reg AQ that week??? Yeah you gave us weekly but Id get 12 crystals daily for each of the 4 days. Thats 48 missed/lost/denied. Multiply that by how many players .... where would we be? Closer then now for sure - & that mightve generated more interest

Rewards are shite for valiant players to open 2000+ valiant 4hr crystals only to purge everything in your stash for gold. Especially being there’s no content to use potions on. SOS is done within a day and 9.1 was 100% on the 3rd day of release. Rewards should have been tiered with valiant getting better value and thronebreaker + receiving a 7*. It would not have broken the economy of the game.

Personally, rewards aren’t great. I have no desire to pop tons of crystals for it and let stuff expire. I think it’s good for once where the community fails and doesn’t get everything. Learn from failures, move on and be better, and Kabam can produce better events.

I've been a regular spender since the games birth. And I agree. The game is a complete shit show anymore. The game just blatantly cheats the players control rng and on battlegrounds it's even worse with rigged matchups and champion draws to screw you out of counters to let content creators stay on top. the event falls short because the rewards are rubbish and they need an easier way to mass open crystals greater than lots of 10. that's annoying to open a lot them and then you have all this junk in your inventory which you then have to select to sell and its too time consuming. It's easier to just ignore the event The idea was sound but the practical execution is poor
