The Mitsubishi GTO is always my go to car. Will always be one of my all time favourites. Also, I hope they bring the Later models too GT7, as they are lighter and handle much better.
Loving the tuning videos, Chaz! Learning a lot here! What would you suggest for the front/rear balance of braking? Should we prefer a bit more braking in the rear to better handle sections like the 1st sharp right turn at Grand Valley? I did not yet have access to the Carbon Propeller Shaft (Ultimate tuning) so took ballast to 186 and arrive at exactly 599.99 PP. :)
GTO was a great touring sports car and a tech demo also (active aero and ride height, 4WD & 4WS). Not made or tuned for any circuit. For sure with tuning it becomes much better.
Handsome fellow, yet I would prefer be looking at the car and see the turn and braking to learn something. Drive in any view, but post your video in hood mod or 3rd person view so I can see what your car doing. Less of you on screen would also help.
Do yourself a favor.... I'd ask to thank me later, noone remembers. Copy the style of suspension settings you find on a similar drivetrain Gr.4. - Depending on the weight of the vehicle you can kinda calculate the right range for the spring rates (if you have gone full lightweight with this tuning method, the spring rates are basically set right in the middle both front and rear for 90% of cars in game) - Using this set-up I find a minimum of 20mm from the lowest ride height is key for appropriate suspension travel and mechanical grip. - If your aero is approx the same range as a Gr3 or above, use the same method as above, but re-read Gr3 dampening settings to resist aero bottoming out.
