I am definitely a big sticker collector. I have stickers ive been saving for almost 20 years! (i'm 31). Also, love your channel and I watch all your videos. I love seeing you do resin crafting and I was going to suggest perhaps some sort of resin crafting using mini brands. I think you could make some really cool coasters or even resin pyramids.

I'd bet this isn't great due to being bootleg, they don't ever use enough adhesive in offbrand stuff. It's either too weak, not enough or what I've found most often both. The extra parts also create more and more points of failure whereas as a single piece like that video shows it has far fewer ways to fail.

That Sanrio sticker maker sounded familiar to me!! I’m subacribed to a Korean resin crafter and toy reviewer (her name is Mani Land) and she reviewd it last year! It came with a really good quality cute plastic case for storage and it worked so much neatly and easier than this one… it’s such a shame that you couldn’t enjoy the sticker maker because of the crappy quality of this dupe 😭😭😭

As a sticker collector myself, I'm pretty sticker maker you got is a boot-leg one since the original is much more simpler then the version u currently have. 🤔🤔🤔 In the original version, both the character and plastic backing already has an adhesive behind it, so u can just peel off the sticker backing from the plastic one and put the character sheet on top it without having to do the extra steps.

Stickers, buttons, even patches! I COLLECT THEM ALL. I love the fuzzy stickers, but the artistic stickers that you get from HotTopic are my go tos. They are just so unique and cute I love them all!! I have a stickers in the shape of a Boba drink, but the lid is in the shape of a groat with a pentagram behind it. Each of these stickers even have the original artist name printed ON the stickers. So I was always the type who collected stickers, but I could never put them on things? Like if you put it on a folder, eventually you'll throw it away! WITH THE STICKER! So during the pandemic, I finally decided I would sticker-fy my laptop, which felt like a huge undertaking. It's semi-permanent, right? But I LOVE the way it looks now. I don't know if I'll ever be done, but I love the process.

Jackie, we love watching the creative applications for resin you explore! We love playing with resin bc of you! Watching this episode I was wondering if maybe you’d do a video exploring the weird add-ins for resin I’ve seen in other craft videos. I’ve seen bath bombs added to resin, acrylic paints, water colors, plaster of Paris, and even PVA glue. I’d love to know if the resin would maintain its integrity and what applications these add-ins might have. Or if it even hardens at all. Such weird resin “hacks” out there.

You can poke/melt a hole in the plastic dome piece and seal the edges with resin like you did before, just without baby oil. Then you can use the pipette to put in your oil and use uv resin to seal the hole over. If you wanna make the hole smaller, you can melt and stretch a plastic pipette so that the opening piece is smaller (that's what I do)

OK, completely unrelated to the video, but I wanted to tell all the Canadian grains that CBC Gem (CBC TV online) has a series called Best in Miniature where a bunch of people do 1/12 scale miniature designs and builds. It was really good!

Great video Jackie. Having someone with a cricut make some custom pieces for you to use with this little "machine" would make it so much better and actually work. You could use the original sticker plastic forms to make clay pieces that u could use to lay shrink plastic over to make the clear shaker parts. Alot of work but it would turn out really really awesome. Especially if you had your own cricut to make the things yourself.

When I saw that this kit used double sided tape I questioned the strength of the adhesive. The adhesive was slightly stronger than the Scoch tape brand. This kit could do better if the plastic shields had a bit of a lip on the inner side. It would be a challenge to attempt making said modification.

@@charlenejo2490 yes it works so well! It took some trial and error, and literally 70% of my process is preventing bubbles. Usually I get some tape from the roll w/out cutting it and stick all or half(based on size) of the paper face down onto that, cut the tape and repeat. Doing that side first ensures that no bubbles are showing. After, I place that sticky side up on a flat surface-raggedy edges and all- and place the same amount of tape sticky side up placing from the center out, the shiny side of this layer sticks to and covers up the sticky side of the first tape. Place baking parchment the same way before trimming the edges. You can then peel away the parchment and stick it somewhere or store it for later. I usually make either pride flag stickers as presents for my friends, or original drawings for the front of whatever notebook or sketchbook I'm using.

I collect crystals, stickers, tarot cards and mugs....Im 35y/o and Ive been collecting stickers since I was 8, Ive actually gotten my 8y/o mini grain into sticker collecting and we do sticker swaps with her knowing that any of my older stickers are purely for her collecting purpose and not to be used lol shes obssesed with my Sailor Moon, Sanrio and Harry Potter stickers lol...my tarot started at 12y/o and the rest of my collections at 18

Not sure if anyone said this yet(too lazy to check all the comments): but I would have did all the steps you did but left out the oil and then used a needle to add the oil after and then sealed with a dab of uv resin. And now that I'm commenting, you mentioned exactly that lol

Lol If you look at my profile pic THAT'S what I"COLLECT"! Those are resin castings I made and then painted using metal powder and acids to get the different patinas the blue's 💙green's 💚 orange 🧡 brown's 🤎 and red's❤️!!! I adore stickers, but I don't use them for any of my pieces,lol I just love THEM!
