Sorry to hear you've got hit with the flu but glad to see you're on the mend and that Helen will be back soon ,dont worry about the vlogs getting you two back in form is more important. You did a masterful job explaining your power needs and how this unit will help .Tell Helen that there is quite a bit of Chocolate involved around the Christmas season so she should get better for that. I would agree that the River 2 is perfeft for any boat or RV since it does not take up a lot of space and has 256Wh of capacity at the ready.

Seems like that the River 2 is the fastest charging power station I have ever seen. I was not expecting that it only needed an hour to fully charge.

What I do like about that River 2 is that it has a 3000 charge cycle which does equate to about 10 years of use.

Very interesting. I think Del (Boatdog Traveler) uses one of those. I have been despairing about the lack of solar panels on your roof...glad to hear you're on board (so to speak!). I hope you and Helen are feeling better soon or you'll have to teach Brucie how to do the everyday stuff❤❤❤❤❤❤

Best wishes to you both and swift recovery to Helen!! The Narrowboat that James Built (channel) uses also the Ecoflo Delta - and River units, I think Cruising Crafts also uses those two power units and seem to use them a lot!! BTW - solar is how they charge them I think!

Thank you for the upload. I have been interested in using these portable power banks in a domestic setting since Del, of Boatdog Traveller, mentioned them on his channel a few videos back, as a substitute for the mains supply chiefly during the summer months. The sorts of things I would be doing are charging laptops, mobiles and running a kettle and a microwave, that sort of thing. Certainly the accompanying solar panel would be of benefit. I'm sorry to hear that both of you have had the flu. I went down with a lurgy Boxing Day afternoon and even now, some three weeks later, I don't feel one hundred per cent. All the best.

We were gifted it from eco flow but I tell you what we wouldn’t think twice about buying one. Tony is best to help you with that advice - I’ll ask him to comment. We use it for work for the lappy and all work related items and they are quite heavy on the electric. It’s been superb. Aww hope you feel better soon. It’s been awful for many this year hasn’t it xx

Bought a River couple of months ago. Unit great the Solar Panel I bought with it is a bit of a faff so if you charge from fixed panels that would be better. Charging from car A1.

Thanks Tony for this update, I wonder if it would be a good idea to do what Heidi (The Pirate) did and went 'hy-brid by changing one of her leisure batteries for just the one Lithium batteries as she really rates the improvement as has several other boaters, so then storage of your power would be better. The piece of kit sounds like a good thing so 'belt and braces' with swapping one battery for lithium may be a cheaper alternative to shelling out loads of cash on solar for the time being as it's great to be able to bring in power but if you can store it better, it might be better. I'm glad that you are getting better and I hope that Hellen gets well soon. If I don't see you before I hope that you three have a very Merry Christmas. Take care and all the best. Stevie

Tony can't you charge it from your solar you have by using the DC load on your mppt controller? Must be a way of using your existing solar panels.

Hi, thanks for the message. I use a 4G router 12 V… Huawei I believe it is… with a Sim card…. Its been excellent 👍 hope this helps. Ps. Smarty card £20 a month (unlimited data) 👍
