20 foot, 1996 Bayliner Capri 2050 SS Has a 305 Chevy V8 The floor was rotted in a few spots. The previous owner had cut them out, and then it sat in their carport for 14 years untouched.
I've done a few floors myself. Old bowriders, even with rotten floors, can be a good value. You got a pretty good deal on this one and the floor looks great. Nice work.
Nice transformation. I would have suggested sealing the underside of the plywood, because it can rot from the bottom up (it happened to me) and fabricating a ski locker door, but I realize you're just trying to get it on the water, and at least it's not headed to the land fill.
Yea I prolly should have. Ski locker on the other hand I didn’t have the trim ring n all plus our last boat we never used it at all. It’s there if we decide to do it it can always be cut out. Depends on how much we like the boat will depend on that and all the other stuff. I was thinking maybe that pvc flooring next time
You can take the prongs off the ignition switch and get a new key and ignition switch shouldn’t be hard to find. In the meantime, you can look up what wires go to and touch the wires together.
