There is a clear path to reach your weightlifting goals, but it needs a good foundational core and pelvic floor understanding, good breathing techniques and mobility throughout the system but particularly the upper region. Balance is key here, balancing your weight, lifting with tissue and joint mobility, strengthening and stretching movements to bring everything into equilibrium.

Thank you, really interesting and informative video. Do you have an exercise programme to address mobility with a view to improve the whole ‘canister’ system i.e. upper body, rib cage, spine, hips etc I used to do a lot of weight training but need to go back to basics. Would your Restore your Core programme address the mobility side of things? Thank you

I have heard that pelvic floor prolapse is a 'western society' problem. Is this true?

Perhaps because of sitting so much? That weakens the pelvic floor. But that are just my thoughts, not science.

Pelvic floor prolapse risk is largely tied to the number of children a person has had. While some studies show higher rates among Caucasian women, I think it's simplistic to suggest geography is the only contributing factor. Thanks for your question!
