This is how I beat Fire Red as a little kid; I was too lazy to train any Pokemon I caught and only trained my starter, so these gift Pokemon were conveniently leveled to help me beat my next challenge

I’m doing a challenge using only Pokémon in LeafGreen with multiple faces. So Dugtrio, Exeggutor, Dodrio, Slowbro, Weezing and Kangaskhan If I can’t find a Kangaskhan I’d use Magneton

So you could have Lapras, Aerodactyl, Hitmonlee in a team yeah I think you’ll be fine🤷🏻‍♂️

Pro tip for Jolteon users in FRLG: level up your Eevee to level 30 before evolving it to Jolteon. It gets Bite at that level which is a good special coverage. Shadow Ball is physical in gen 3, while Bite is special. Flareon and Vaporeon gets Bite at level 30, but not Jolteon.

This was not even a challenge really😂 the team itself was a bit weird but each one on the team is actually a good Pokemon tbh. They all have good stats.

Omanyte is generally better than kabutops in gen 3 because of the higher special attack or every water move in gen 3 Omanyte: better water type Kabutops: better rock type

You should do pokemon: platinum - only gift Pokémon. There a total of 5 gift Pokémon, your starter, a togepi, an eevee, a porygon, and a riolu. So it could be a little more challenging, if you are down.

Train eevee to 30 and learn bite. Good coverage and the flinching is great with jolteons speed

Correction: Eevee is not a gift pokemon. It is a stolen pokemon by Red. This video needs to be redone.

When I was thirteen I played my first pokemon game leaf green in 2005, I started with a balbasaur and that’s the only pokemon I trained I did not know there was an item to replinish pp “the ether” because I never bothered to read its description, so to finish league I taught my Venasaur cut and strength instead of sludge bomb and razor leaf since I finished all pp’s as I move towards champion, so I had used only the starter without pp replenish items. It was hard and some how I completed the game with a level 88 Venasaur with cut and strength 😎😎😎 PS - I killed all the legendary birds, used master ball on Snorlax.

When you become 10 years old. You become a Pokemon trainer. So you can say that professor gave you "gift" as a Pokemon. You can say that bulbasaur is a gift pokemon

I am so used to watching people struggle to beat Brock in challenge runs (both literally and figuratively) that this was just weird.

Considering your starter a "gift pokemon" makes this challenge not all that meaningful considering it's easily possible to solo the game with any starter, I have to say

Am considered as a criminal if I choose the Dome Fossil? Because I always do and Kabutops has never failed me. Like, no disrespect to Omastar, but a Kabutops with the right move set can be deadly.

I've tried this challenge with the almost exact same team, except omastar was replaced by alakazam. Before you say anything, This alakazam isn't the wild one. You can buy an abra in the game corner. I know It's buyable pokemon, but I bought it with only hidden coins across the room, so technically I got it for free.
