Rope and cable? Since they're unlimited, you'd either have to limit them to the max length of the steel(4m) or not use them at all. Or not play any challenges/levels with them in the first place.
That last bridge is honestly VERY beautiful, i really like how it looks! The rest were monstrosities for sure, but the last one had actual class to it haha
In this game small pieces arent heavier; the weight comes from extra materials used on the multi-layered truss ...at least for now. Some node weight is planned to be added in a future update, as a fix to node spam becoming very springy, the other problem you encounter in this challenge 😅
I think nodes being super stretchy is super cool. Shows the difference between long pieces and short ones besides weight. But I do hope normal springs are lighter than wood springs
@@daniellucas5522 I wouldn’t say it’s cheesy. It’s like wooden rope. A wooden spring. But I could agree that the new dangling road and wood should be fixed or nerfed somehow
@@eeveewithcoffee9554 The difference between this and wooden rope is that wooden rope has the same properties as wood, it doesn't magically become stronger in tension when laid out that way This is abusing game mechanics to change the properties of the material.
Poly Bridge 3 but you beat the game at maximum budget but every dollar has to be justified (as in, can’t just have a giant blob of steel in the corner, it all has to contribute to the bridge) Theoretically easy but the goal is to see more of the crazy shenanigans with moving linkages and sucb
That would actually be so cool! I imagine the last 20 dollars or so would just be dumb little tweaks ... or i suppose build OVER budget then tweak until it's perfectly on budget.
i wonder if self building bridge is possible. like at the beginning of level you have pre-built road pieces (like blocks made of steel and 2-3 road pieces) and you need to use these pieces to create a bridge using walking machine (it'll walk on foundation, the gap between foundation will be 2 road blocks maybe). i'm sure it's possible, the only problem is hydraulic clicking and moving these road blocks to the end of the bridge, maybe it'll be possible with custom shape dropping blocks one by one and a truck delivering road blocks
Maybe literally the exact opposite challenge could me fun... well except for like rope n cable. An unrelated challenge is minimum stress (under budget)
Can you make a bridge where all the pieces are red for the majority of the level? Can you beat all the levels if the car is replaced with an 18-wheeler?
I think this is really an awesome video. For me, it is one of the best Poly Bridge videos! Look at the beautiful bridges you made to complete the challenge!
Bad move poly bridge, imagine they have plans to make a legitimate 3D poly bridge, now they can’t put it in the title! There will never be Poly Bridge 3D, ig it could be like a 3:B but still
@@ritheshknaik Quoted from the steam page of poly bridge 3: "New Material: Foundation" Support long bridges with a strong foundation, or two! Expensive yet very effective at reducing stress in key positions."
