Is it at all possible to get when you put what points in as you leveled? Using this a reference and I see it spike dramatically and can't keep up lol

especially when you consider that this character has already gone through the other endings, seen what they had to offer, and decided that the fourth option Nuwa gave was the one he was looking for.

I took it in an opposite sense, namely, both sides agreed that the situation was a mess and they'd maintain order on their side of things seperate from humanity while you Shepard humanity, both going their own way knowing the promise to one another.

@@christopherbravo1813 the Op, he says if you do the run with demon's it's like throwing them under the bus, I took it as both you and the demons coming to agreement that both sides need to be seperate as "the world for humanity alone" doesn't delete the demons just seperates them from the human world and as half of the issues in the series come from demon X fighting with Angel Z over control over the human world having them seperate may stop the fighting all together

@@AnarchicArachnid I don't think anyone agrees to it, but yeah. I do think that all the protagonist does is keep the demons separate from the new world.

The Mitamas don't give an unfair advantage, just speeds things up.

My only point is that it is possible… just not practical. The max stats are 999 so doing many new game plus runs is the only way to make it possible to solo demi fiend. Most players are better off modding their stats though

You did 32 new game pluses? How long did that take?

It would honestly be really cool if it was animated or something. Imagine Tsukyomi unleashing a barrage of omni-directional slashes, and Nahobino is just a blur dodging all the attacks.

If you own a switch, play smt 5! It's a perfect entry point for newcomers.

I rewatch challenge runs for background noise to help with my adhd. But sometimes some editing just makes me pause and concentrate on that section alone. The Shiva Low Health to flashback to win section is always one of those. And it always makes me emotional. Love it so much.

NG+ was required for 2 reasons: obtaining drain physical (equipping the skill on nahobino) and more balms to survive the impaler animus boosted attack at -2 defense. The balm issue could be solved with better planning and stat points allocation, but I don't see how you do this without drain physical. The only source of drain physical in the game comes from Nuwa's essence, which is an essence that you cannot get unless you go to NG+. The easier way to get drain physical would be to switch your affinities to those of a demon who drains phys naturally (i.e. siegfried) but there is an issue with that. If you do that, then you don't have a guaranteed way to avoid Kali's fogna. Status immunities are a lot harder to get because your only reliable way to get one is to change Nahobino's affinities. That's part of why I changed my affinities to those of Zao Gongen's essence, to make sure I had a mirage immunity to deal with fogna. I did a lot of testing and combining the drain physical skill and Zao Gongen's essence looked like the best combination. Maybe there is another way to tackle this fight but this is the best strategy I was able to come up with.

@@Doos No idea if this will work, but perhaps you could kill Kali so Shiva summons Parvati? Parvati uses hama and marakukaja, so you would need to grab drain light as well (which unfortunately would have to replace high restore) and hope that the longer fight is manageable, but it gets the fogna issue out the way. You can then use Siegfried's affinities for drain phys and inherit resist fire (instead of drain phys) and drain elec as usual. It does add another problem though, which is mp and healing item management. I'm not sure if you will run out of items dealing with Shiva if Parvati starts putting up marakukaja. Nice job with the run btw, it was a treat to watch!

About 4 months ago Robin and Zephyr did the same challenge and defeated shiva on normal new game.

I know you are teasing, and for those who don't know about SMTV Demi-Fiend (somehow), it's pretty impossible solo. Buffs, debuffs, aggresive elemental coverage, big damage, instakills, healing, Gaea Rage which acts as a timer that WILL kill anyone who is alone and Chaotic Will which if it does not kill you, you basically lose a turn which leads to Gaea Rage. I would like to see the Fiend fights that lead to Demi-Fiend.

Thank you ! I used Nuwa's theme for that section. Funny that you mentioned Shadow Hearts because I've recently heard about the game and I'm considering playing it for the first time. I like JRPGs with interesting takes on the turn based formula (SMT, Octopath Traveler etc...) and it looks like that game is right up my alley. I could see myself covering it on the channel if I really enjoy it.

@Deus omg you'll love shadow hearts . I've been wanting to replay it for years but the game is expensive now for the legitimate copy. I borrowed and played my friends copy years ago but I still play the shadow hearts 2 that I own to this day. I've played through it like 8-10 times. I recommend greatly plus there is a game inspired by it coming out soon called PennyBlood
