Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into another excellent martincitopants video, this time with his ventures in trying to beat Skyblock without the start chest. That is ironically why the main tree in sky-blocks is oak.. well that and the apples are an early food source. Also wandering trader will have lava bucket...

Seeing half of this video on stream and then again now still baffles me at how the frogman could endure putting himself through soooo much mental anguish, good on him for having that fortitude, because lawd knows i absolutely wouldn't

I've done that but not on hardcore like Martin, and even then it was pain. Just getting enough iron for the cauldron took so much time, it took me literal weeks to finish that skyblock. The fact he did all of it in such a short amount of time and on hardcore is truly impressive. If there's something Martin has it's fortitude. Between this and all his Just Cause speedruns you can't say man lacks determination...

about the mod he used, lava is literally the ONLY thing he couldn't get that he absolutely needed. its why every form of skyblock map has at least a single source of lava SOMEWHERE in the world. making it so he could only get lava via tool smith's gifts is probably the hardest way he could get it legitimately, so i say the tiny change to the loot table is an acceptable change to the otherwise purely vanilla game.

The thing is the wandering trader and tool Smith have actually gotten updates where they give out lava buckets respectively

@@tempestflare4339Where are you seeing this? I can't find any info on wandering traders, tool smiths, or any villager selling lava in vanilla minecraft. Some villagers will BUY lava, but none sell them.

fishing is truly broken. I also defaulted to it at the start and instantly started getting enchanted rods, one of which had mending. It all snowballed from there

how to get a charged creeper (called a super creeper in the vid): option 1: capture creeper, then wait for a lightning storm and have lightning hit the creeper option 2 (harder to obtain everything for but easier to execute): get channelling trident (channelling from enchanting the trident) throw that trident at a creeper during a lightning storm... both results give a charged creeper

I actually don't. Ironically I don't enjoy fishing in Destiny. I'm also the kind of person who will do Raids back to back with a good group. It's just not my preferred thing to fish in Destiny.

Kip....the Phantoms are not Exaclty "Birds" they're more like Nightmare Bats, and they just Appear if you don't sleep for like 3-4 in Minecraft 😅😅😅, but if you sleep every Night you would never saw them.
