@@FlourescentPotato this is regular slay the spire i'm talking about, maybe learn how to use different cards instead of fishing for the same two decks each run
@@FlourescentPotatoStreamline is honestly pretty solid. 15 (20) damage for two is a lot early game, and with a rebound or a hologram (also both commons) you can quickly replay it to quickly end fights. While it's not run defining and I'll rarely grab it after act one, it still holds its own all the way to the heart.
True. But really with the other characters u would just need to get any kind of damage from the starting bonus, so choose a card, choose a rare, choose a colorless, or rare colorless have pretty good chances
Ok so I didn't know where they were from but I found them eventually. in order the song's played in the heart fight are: "Undefeatable"-Sonic Frontiers. "Break Through it All"-Sonic Frontiers "Still Alive"-Mirror's Edge Damn I didn't know that there was rock music in the first open-zone type game.
3d Sonic games have always had rock songs with vocals, but usually it was silly pop-rock or butt-rock type stuff like Crush 40, not like intense post-hardcore emo metal shit. I guess I gotta listen to the OST now, goddamn
I love this challenge. What are your thoughts on doing this challenge with Neow's Lament and bronze scales? Then you can do it on any character, but you would tank the first three fights.
Actually did this on my first try, but I definitely got the "with enough luck" part of the challenge. Started with a couple of claws and draw cards, a turbo a bit later, so I got through most fights pretty easy. Ended up getting Black star which got me the broken Torii + metal rod combo, so I was fairly safe for half of the heart fight and with a couple of buffers I got through it taking almost no damage.
here's a challenge, there's a relic that allows you to add cards that are played that are not in your deck, it's in one of the relic mods you play with, maybe Hug you. Start with that relic and a Discovery, can only earn cards from combat
I love the upfront explainer for the surprising complexities, but also the shoutout to the smaller creator (especially in light of hbomberguy’s latest video lol)
You have to be thinking about what you need for acts 3-4 from the beginning, but the rest is being able to beat A20 normally, by act 3 it's like a very good run from slay the streamer where chat just wanted to help I feel like the biggest challenge is making it out of act 2 for two reasons 1. You can make a consistently powerful deck on act 1, but that doesn't necessarily beat act 2 2. You're playing the defect
This was a great run and challenge! The strats of drawing voids on 0 energy and hologramming the voids to not lose the energy are something I'll try to copy myself!

Congrats, impressive! I've done this due to a bug with a mod; honestly? If you survive the first encounter, the only challenges are those that give statuses. [Not a brag. I've lost nearly every run caused by this bug.] Those statuses are brutal. Won twice, but so everyone knows, those were with MODDED cards, so I don't count them.

I had litterally just finished watching hbomb's video on plagarism, then clicked on this. (yes I'm binging 5 hours of youtube today, don't tell me how to live my life >.>) And the first 20 seconds made me cackle like a maniac. See i just started Slay on console. And this REALLY shows i have a lot to learn. Deck management for sure (yes its challene) but this shows i can need to deck thin
New challenge idea: defect run where you cannot deal and damage, block, or gaining extra energy besides relics and orbs (passive orb abilities and evoking are both allowed, but you could choose to not allow orb evoking for a bigger challenge)
Is creative ai good? Laughs in 4 creative ai, 3 echo, 5 loop, max orb slots, 15 focus, 5 lightning channeled per power card played. (Mummified hand helped some)
What does happen when you get rid of the curse and have really 0 cards and get flash of steel (deal 3 draw 1) of neow? Do you instantly win every fight on turn 1?
i really think it's a buff not disadvantage. assuming you have the luck in the first 3 fight to get enough to get started. after that you get so much free remove
