Happy Thursday once again everyone! This was a fun project to try with kinetic sand and shows that even with some cheap play sand you can get at Walmart you can cast some nice things with some good detail. Enjoy and I’ll see you all next week for more 👍🏻
Hey Adam, would you consider making the Dagger from the Prince of Persia? that holds the Sands of time. You could even put some sand inside it and have it like a small hour glass inside the handle
Nice bruv was expecting it to flame up but that went rather well. Said it before amd still not sure how it would be done but the oroborus from the never-ending story would be dope but its two different metals intertwined idk. I thx again bruv slainté
That was awesome, i saw King of Random do a video of casting with kinetic sand, Thank you for showing a more accurate representation of its positive usefulness for simple projects.
Whelp I just found another bigstackD to watch lol great video I got a smelter 3 weeks ago and I wanted to learn how to do sand casting and I stumbled across this video I'm happy now
ADAM WOW I THOUGHT FOR SURE THAT WAS GOING TO FAIL. But damn they turned out pretty sweet I have seen other people try that and fail AWESOME job brother and make what ever you want everything YOU and BIGGY do is AWESOME you both got different techniques and this is what I like about you guys ok ADAM till next time 👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦
They worked out pretty good for some quick molding. Might be good for some arts and crafts projects, but had a lot of porosity. Cool Video This week. Take it easy. 🍻🍻🍻🐺🐺🐺
I need two of those 3d printed skulls not the casted ones just the plastic ones. I'd like to paint them black and stick them on my truck. Love the vids man keep up the good work.
I think in a pinch, that sand works out pretty well! Also, some ideas for what to cast: Paragon/Renegade/N7 symbols from Mass Effect The Master Chief's helmet/ODST logo from Halo Republic/CIS/Empire/Rebel Alliance symbols/Darth Vader mask from Star Wars Nice video man! Keep up the awesome work! :)
I'm impressed with how they turned out, I've not seen this type of pour. I was thinking the mandalorian skull would be awesome, since you like skulls!! 💀 I love your videos!💜👊 thank you!
They're cool, man. The Pyramid looks amazing. Personal favorite of mine from this cast. Soon, your stack going to be like BigstackD! You are also the only man who seen his face unless he's really clown human hybrid lol
Great pour man! Turned out nice. It would be cool if you poured some brass punches or a brass mallet. Maybe with some kind of cool design in them. Just a thought. Thanks for the video! I always look forward to watching your weekly videos.
My dude. This was awesome. I have been absolutely loving the channel. I just got into casting, but I really want to cast a sword in kinetic sand now lol
i think that using this sand you lose some small details on casting and maybe it requires some more cleaning after. But for some low detail items and as a quick way, it looks nice!
Kinetic sand looks promising. If you placed a steel plate on top of the mold with a riser (cut in two) on it to help add some weight to bring out more detail, could you get more detail if the mold had finer detail in it?
Oh,and if you take plank/2x4 and just ruffly carve a 2 inch wide by 4 inch long Groove, like å inch deep, and your in copper, then flipp it,and poor one more and so on. I think you wil get some Interesting and different texture on your little bar
You should Cast the Eagle Globe and Anchor out of brass bullet casings.. and that I could provide for you very easily I would like to work with you to see how I can get that over to you
I do this with sand but on large scale I got pound and a half 5 pounds of palladium 24k gold and PLATINUM skulls weighing almost 2 pounds Darth Vader nuggets man I love this I love skulls Bro that's why I watch your channel you should try it with regular dirt but my dirt is paydirt almost clay I mold in it and pour and get perfect casts and sometimes I just put the gold in the mold my gold's alien gold palladium it turns in to T2 liquid terminator I got a 20 lb nugget of mother earth they call Shiva huge that was natural I think the Indian tribe did it I found it and with all the gold I got tons of it yeah that's how my gold pours just like that T2 judgement day lol I love your show bro your awesome
Hello I love your art. I have been trying sadly with out success to cast the glaive from the 1983 movie Krull maybe you can try it so I can get some tips from a pro.
Turned out good. Ove seen some pour in kinetic, and it allmost Burns up in proses. Mabye it was copper,hotter.... Wel,you can make an entire army,of those Green army dudes kids play with. I also wanna see a warity of farm animals..
Well all in all it seems to work :) just if the little bubbles aren't bad its ok but for a smooth finish? I don't know really maybe try other types of metals too?
I notice there are small dots on all the casts - is that from grains of sand? I was wondering actually if heating up the sand first might help. I really like the detail though - that is great for just using kinetic play sand. The colors you get off the blue sand are also kind of interesting - at least in the video.
Very nice marine corps ring ? Did you serve in the corps ? What was your MOS ? If so.. thank you so much for your service sir. My father is a devil dog as well Semper Fi !
