Can You Defeat GNA by Simply DODGING ?

That’s what I did as Atreus with Heimdall in my second play. I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to even hot him, so I just dodged and parry. He never touched me

I actually noticed that Freya mostly participate when you fight Gna. You even get some prompts sometimes that you can press for her to perform a follow up attack. But then you don’t see have of those when fighting a berserker, even in a 1v1 😓 So I came to the realization that Freya ONLY helps if she has beef with the opponent

THAT fight was EXCRUCIATING ! I despised it to my core

​@@DjissoIt depends on her skill tree. If you like with gna can use your arrows on something specifically meant for that, you get a follow up attack with a box icon. I know that atreus got this one depicted in the instinct section.

And Even then, Realm shift really became viable in NG+ with Kvasir’s enchantment and Zeus’ armor set. In Ragnarok, you get the ability 2-3 Hours into the game and can already yield some results

Realm set armor (I think it's called radiance?) is my fav, it's so fun to just dodge at the last moment and slow the time down, and with smaller weaker enemy it's so fun to dodge each of there attack and continuously realm shift, I love realm shift, it's the best

Well you definitely Should ‼️ It gets insanely stressful when you are get her down to one health bar. She starts doing less moves you can dodge and you get closer to choking the run

@@Djisso Alright djisso here’s the build First for the thing the axe attachment use the one that has realm shit in it The blades attachment go with anything that has the most defense or strength Same thing with spear defense or strength Next the daunty shield with round of obliteration Valor spartan rage Mimir relic Next equip the bear chest armor Wrist armor lundas Belt of radiance the amulet use the vanaheim set and muspelheim set, bone of valor, lundas engraving and surtrs engraving or memento of the ailing or I recommend seal of the runic storm finally the skills make everything momentum now this build is a bifrost build/poison/realm shift/elemental build(permafrost,Immolation and Maelstrom) to perform it first do a doge to activate realm shift then the shards will come out straight after that release the shards from the round of obliteration then mimirs relic this the bifrost then use rest as you like the elementals and poison I call this build the multibuild. I'll resend it in the stream as well

Oh yeah, parries are fine but I can’t counter with a shield strike. I did try not to parry often though

@@MrKirk94 I'm not trying to discredit him or diminish his work remotely, it was impressive and quite nice to see. I was purely wondering he did it when the title suggested otherwise. I know it makes things easier which is obviously why he did it, otherwise certain things would be slightly unreasonable, but I when seeing the title, I was wondering how he would fair against it. Realistically, he didn't parry or block too often, but it was odd to see every now and again, especially when he definitely beat it without doing so, with it just being more difficult. Again, though, I am not diminishing his work and do give him props for completing the challenge as is and again, was merely asking why.

@@AManWithAGODComplex I think he had to block and parry some of her AOE attack where the ground turns red, because there is no way to get her out of that move without taking damage if you don't. And when she closes up her wings to block you. Actually I think you can dodge the AOE attack by getting far away from her, possibly.

Oh no, I think you saw something resembling her on my left but she was always on my right. Her “Rise Attack” where she throw a boulder makes her open for 2-3 seconds after the throw. That’s why I ran to my right since I knew she would still be going down

Oh It wasn’t the talisman doing anything. The Chest Armor is the one throwing Shards Everytime you perform a last second dodge. And the Gauntlets of the radiance allows you to trigger a realm shift with those last second dodges

From Gna’s Perspective, I didn’t throw a single punch and kept making this sound. Next thing she knows, She Dead. That relic has to be overpowered

I will have to use the spear in some bits though since he won’t take health damage otherwise

you can actually summon trolls using that relic when your next to a troll statue. although it doesnt even matter what relic he uses because he can only dodge

She is programmed to counter you and come on with ways to punish you. I think she doesn’t know how to react when you do nothing and just stand there, menacingly.

To be Fair, I have fought countless times prior to the update. And though her moves got slightly tweaked, they are also still too familiar She also punishes you for trying to be agressive or spam your attacks. I think she doesn’t know how to behave when you do nothing
